Jason stood in front of you and Bruce gun in hand. It scared you that he do this. He wasn't the same boy you worked beside, the same one you met at school, but he was still the boy you loved. And here he was pointing a gun at you."Bruce. I forgive you for not saving me. But why on God's green earth is he still alive!?" He yelled, slamming his foot into the run door closet door, breaking it. Releving the Joker tied up.
Taking a small leap of faith. Praying you were right that Jason wouldn't shoot you. "Jay you have no idea how much I wanted to kill him, but I realized that doing so wouldn't bring you back and it would only suck me into that darkness that surrounds him."
"So now your judging my choices, Sweetheart?" He growled.
"No, I'm just telling you that not everyone is up for killing a scumbag like Joker. Even if it might be the right thing to do. Taking someone's life is huge and not everyone can handle the consequences." You explained. Hoping he understood.
"Will I can." He said.
"Will Bruce and I can't." You gently argued.
"Not even for me?" The way his voice cracked broke your heart all over again.
"I wanted to, but I knew that if that darkness took over, you would hate me even more then you do right now." You explained, hoping he understands why you couldn't do it.
"So, what's your excuse Old Man? Cause (hers/his/their)'s is pretty good."
