Panic attacks were something you always struggled with. But during the apocalypse, they happened a lot more frequently. Didn't seem to matter what caused it, there was always some type of situation that would trigger it; Almost being taken down by a walker, being shot at, watching someone else in your group get killed, the idea of losing someone you care deeply for. And the only person who was able to help calm you down was your boyfriend Daryl.

* He'd always be able to pick up when one was going to start and would instantly be at your side, ready to help you through it.

* He would cup your face and have you try to focus on just him.
- "Look at me, I'm right here."

* He would breathe with you at first, just to try and get your breathing going. When intense situations struck, breathing was a lot harder to think about.

* He would keep his voice low and soothing, always talking to you so you'd have something to distract you.

* As soon as you were even able to register his touch, you were able to focus on him. His eyes staring intently at you with softness.

* He tried his damn hardest not to look too concerned, out of fear that it would upset you and make you worried something else was wrong.

* When you reached a point where your breathing rhythm matched his, he would slowly fade his breathing out and watch as yours became more normal.

* He'd let his forehead rest on yours briefly, as a moment to reflect how relieved he is that you're OK, and reminded himself just how much he cared about you.

* You were always very grateful for him for helping you through them. So much so that you LOVED him for it. It always made you look at him a little bit differently with much added appreciation and affection.

* When he was reassured that everything was fine again, he'd brush the strands the hair away from your face and pull you closer to him again, leaving a light kiss on your forehead.

* You both had a lot of deep conversations about these experiences, ones where he'd tell you his experiences and what helped him and you showering him with appreciation for helping you through them when he didn't have to.
