𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙣 - 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙩

You stood in the frosty morning air, feeling chills creep up your skin. You held your arms wrapped around your torso and glanced down to your wrist to check the time. It was currently 7:45am, meaning the school bus should be here any minute. You looked up again scanning the area before watching the bus finally make its way towards you; already noticing the amount of people crammed on the bus. Letting out a large sigh, you begin to board the bus; pulling the sleeves of your sweater around your hands for extra warmth. You begin walking to the middle of the bus grasping onto the handgrip hanging above you, avoiding the countless students crammed next to each other in each seat.

You look around wearily before your eyes suddenly focus on the student sitting directly underneath your arm, Park Sunghoon. You have seen him around your school before but have never formally introduced yourself due to the different grades the both of you are in, and purely the fact that he is the most attractive and intriguing person you have ever laid eyes on. For some reason you are drawn to his mysterious presence, admiring the way he slouches back into his seat while being almost too tall to fit in the crammed bus seat. The bus begins to shake over the bumpy paved road, making all the students sway and clasp tighter onto the handgrip. You continue observing the boy next to you from the corner of your eye, watching the way he rests his head against the seat with his eyes closed, exposing his sharp jawline as if he's "on display".

You feel as if you have been put under a trance from Sunghoon's beauty, questioning how that is even possible. You continue staring at this boy without realizing how stupid you looked, suddenly feeling the bus violently shake. You awake from this "trance" and grip onto the bus-handle tightly, but obviously not tight enough. You suddenly feel yourself being thrown around with students banging against each other, before falling directly onto the person who you were avoiding the past years. "Um, that's my lap..." Sunghoon stated with a sly smirk, feeling your cheeks immediately burn a bright red. 'Uh...I-I'm so sorry" you respond quickly before trying to get up, realizing you are unable to because of another student standing directly in front of you. You spin your head to face Sunghoon's, immediately connecting eyes. He then closes his eyes and leaned his head back against the seat, running his fingers through his silky hair. "Enjoy it while it lasts" He says sarcastically, leaving you feeling uncomfortable and speechless, gasping at the statement he just made. You immediately push away the student in front of you making room to stand, wanting the ground below to swallow you whole. 'That was the most embarrassing experience of my life' you think to yourself with your head down, not knowing how you could ever confront Sunghoon again.

After what felt like hours, the bus finally pulled up to the front of your school, with you almost racing to the front to try and exit first. You stumble down the bus's stairs and exhale in relief, before quickly making your way towards the school building and thinking over what just happened. "Hey...Hey y/n!" you hear someone yell, before realizing that the voice was coming from Sunghoon. You spin around in shock, watching the tall, lanky boy jog towards you. "Hey, sorry about what I said, I thought it was kinda funny" he chuckled stupidly, leaving you with no other choice than to forgive him immediately.

You begin to walk away but realize he is trailing next to you like an innocent little puppy, not leaving your side. You are confused at first, pushing away your thoughts as you make your way towards the lockers. "See you around y/n" he says softly before segregating towards his friends, leaving you speechless and dazed once again. "y/n! What's up with you and Sunghoon?" you hear your friend questioning from behind you, wondering the exact same thing. "Something happened on the bus" you respond, feeling the butterflies grow larger as you wonder what will happen next.
