chapter 6: believer

hey guys so I know I said I would post 2x21 and 2x22 together but some reason I'm kinda struggling with the last episode, I kinda feel like I'm just writing things for the sake of it. I know I already posted this chapter then deleted it because I wasn't happy with it I got an idea. This is about Mias subplot to substitute Juliette's in the show since it doesn't apply to Mia but it does have scenes from 2X21.Let me know what you think

chapter 6: believer

For the last week or so since the Musai case Mia had began to distance herself form Nick partly due to the whole Musai spell situation where Mia's kiss was able to break the hold that Khloe had on Nick, Mia had tried to ignore all the research that she and Rosalee had done that showed only true love could break the spell on Nick. She was scared that they were beginning to get serious, it wasn't that she was scared of commit or worried that he was going to hurt her. In fact it was the other way around, she was worried that her past would come back and haunt her as well as ruin everything she had worked for and built including her relationship with Nick. Despite her best efforts to hid her fears and worries from Nick, he could sense something was off with Mia but couldn't figure out what, every time he said something slightly serious about them she would begin to pull away. He knew that she wasn't likely to just to tell him he simply asked so he decided to use his police interrogation skills on her during lunch one day. Nick grabbed their lunch for a local Italian restaurant then went to her school to surprise her. Mia wore a black striped skirt with bright pink shirt that was tucked in and pink heels. Her hair was curled with two braids at the front that was pinned into place with two pink hair clips, she also wore simple eyeliner with bright pink lp gloss. Nick arrived at her class just as the students were leaving for lunch.

"ohh hottie alert... and a cop too, Miss what did you do?" said a blonde young girl who was no more than 16 when she saw Nick coming towards the classroom as the group of girls around her began to laugh

"Sara I'm sure this nice detective would prefer not to objectified by a group teenagers while he is trying to protect this city" Mia said standing by her desk, giving the young girls a stern look that he never seen on her face before as they mumbled sorries as they walked away

" oh wow remind me to never piss you off, I've never seen this stern teacher side of you before... its hot" he said placing the bag of food for lunch that he brought with him on her desk as he wrapped his arms around her

"really? well lucky for me none of my students think that side of me is hot, although I did get asked to homecoming the other day" she said making them both laugh before Nick pulled her in for a kiss to say hello to her

" I hope you told him that you have really good looking boyfriend who just so happens to carry a gun for a living" he said after they broke apart, he still felt like she was holding back from him like her heart wasn't fully into the kiss

" so why are you here? did something happen? I mean you never just turn up here" she said beginning to worry that something bad had happened to Monroe or Rosalee, it was like her worst fear being confirmed

" no everything is fine ok? I just thought it would nice to have lunch together since everything at work is quiet just now and I know that you have a free period after lunch" he said he began to take things out of the bag that he had placed on top of desk

" you brought me lunch? thats so sweet of you and from Fazoil's... please say you got me their caesar salad?" she asked as she pulled a chair over to her desk which she cleared to give them room

" of course like I would go to your favourite Italian restaurant and not get you your favourite thing from there and before you ask I got you some mango ice cream" he said flashing his winning smile that made her forget all of her worries
