Chapter 9: home

hey guys so here is another chapter for you, I couldn't resist but put an extra scene at the end filled with lots of Mia and Nick goodness and in this one you find out Mia's full name ( not her last name.) Chapter 9: home

On the ride to the old spice shop Nick was restless as if he was trying to the antidote that was currently trying to work its way around his system. Mia nervously sat in the back with him as she regularly checked his pulse that was slowing down, the fact that his touch was becoming colder and colder to her didn't do anything for her nerves. She was thankful when they finally arrived at the shop, Hank and Monroe carried Nick inside then laid him on the bed in the back room while Roselee grabbed the spare antidote that she had made just in case they needed more then injected Nick with it. As soon as he was giving the second dose he seemed to calm down, now things had slowed down the reality of the situation seemed to sink as they began to deal with the fact that it Eric who had caused all of things. After promising to take care of his brother Renard left to go back to the prescient, Hank went out to get everyone some food.

" hey Mia put this on you head, I'm worried about the swelling plus it looks like you're going to have a nasty bruise for a while" Rosalee said handing her an ice pack before heading towards Monroe to begin to clean his cuts

" how are you going to explain it to the people in you school?" Monroe asked worried that someone might think the worst of her, it wasn't her fault that some power hungry royal messed around with their lives

" I'll just say I was attacked by those junky people that were attacking everyone downtown, it doesn't matter since school is off for a few days plus I've got bigger things to worry about right now" she said pushing the food aside as she made her way towards Nick who was still passed out on the bed

"He'll be fine Mia, I mean the fact that he had to doses of the antidote means it was work better. I just can't believe the royals would do this so publicly" Rosalee said trying to comfort the younger girl, she knew if their roles were reversed and it was Monroe lying on that bed Mia would do the same for her

"if the royals are going to this extent to get a grimm..." Monroe said as he eat the Chinese food that Hank had brought back with him, he was interrupted as Rosalee began to clean his cuts

" this might hurt a little" she said pre warning him before she applied the alcohol to his cuts, she was just thankful that his wounds weren't any worse than they were

" or a lot, I'm not kidding that really hurts" he said pulling for her as she gave him a look, Mia liked it when they were this way with each other it was how she knew that her big brother had finally found the woman of his dreams

" sorry that cut is a little deep" she said trying hard not to laugh at the fact that this was the man that went into a barn to fight a crazed infected Nick without showing any signs of fear but was now complaining about her cleaning one of his cuts

" well I didn't know that until now, ok let me have it"he said preparing himself as she silently chucked at him while Hank began to think things over, Mia was sitting on the bed next to Nick as she gently swept the hair out of his eyes

"that's what I'm thinking, if they were willing to do what they did then there must be some serious stuff in the works" Hank said returning to their previous conversation as if the thing between Monroe and Rosalee never happened

"yeah me too, they risked exposure and the wrath of the council because there is no way that they missed this" Mia said wondering what was going to happen now since neither party was going to forget about this
