Mal had let Gabriel stay, but mere thoughts went through Gabriel's head as she stuffed her face with food. The thing she'd been missing for two days was food. Her most important thought of all was if she could trust Ms. Mal or not...
She stared at her "mother" as she glared at Gabriel like a snake. Mal never let anyone harm Nathan, but today, that rule was broken. Minutes went by, to hours. When Gabriel saw two old Alphas outside of the palace, she shouted, "INTRUDERS!!" The old Alphas must've heard, because they started running the opposite direction.
No, they never caught a glimpse of the Alphas, but Gabriel knew they were Alphas, for the most part. "Gabriel!" Called Ms. Mal from downstairs.
"Coming..." Gabriel called to Mal. It's not every day you see two Alphas out your window, and certainly not normal. After dinner, Gabriel decided to search for the two strange Alphas.
She walked down to her old home, where she was surprised to see two sets of ears perked up in the window. Surprised, Gabriel went to see who they were, exactly why they were looking for her, and how they got past the border. Seeing ears for the first time in a while shook Gabriel.
Strangely enough, it was the same people who stalked the palace. Running through the woods, Gabriel noticed blood trails in horror, Gabriel shot out her wolf teeth, following the trail, suddenly, a voice whispers in her ear,
"I am right here..." Frightened, Gabriel howled like she was part of a pack again. She turned, thinking she'd see a human. But, sure enough, it was...
"Nathan?! What the heck! Why'd you scare me like tha..." "shhhhhh..." said a voice behind her. When Gabriel turned around, she saw a tall man dressed in black. Bald, and with a green beard. What an odd man... Gabriel thought. As she turned around, attempting to run, she noticed Nathan wasn't there anymore. Running towards the palace, a guard stops her.
It looks a lot like Nathan.
Gabriel was confused.
"You're not allowed in. Only Mal and Nathan may enter..." suddenly, his face turned huffy and bright red. "GUARDS!!" Three guards came out and pulled Gabriel away.
"Nathan! Help! Mal! Help!" Gabriel shouted as she was thrown into a bloody creek. She quick got out, and chased the guards. The guards couldn't know she got out that quick. Gabriel bit one of the guards in the arm, causing him to pass out. The other, got punched in the face, and finally, the other was attacked by a kick, punch, and bite.
Gabriel went inside the house.
"Gabriel?!" Shouted the old woman.
"How do you know me?!" Gabriel backed up a bit.
"Sweetie, we're your parents!" Shouted the old man and lady at the same time.
