"That looks... half decent I guess?" I say, steeping back to look at my room. You took the liberty to redesign it a bit from my old room back home, but a lot of things are still missing. A lot of my stuff won't finish shipping over for another week, so a half bare room will have to do for now.
I sigh and check my phone.
5:29
Shit! The store closes in a hour... and mom gets home in an hour and a half! Time to run!
I race out my room, slamming into the walls and pushing off them as I bolt down the stairs. I snatch my skateboard and race out the front door. I'm wearing a large f/c hoodie and some ripped jeans, with my favorite shoes. The breeze has slowed down and the sun has been covered by clouds, so no need to worry about my hair slamming into my face again. I race down the street, the nearing supermarket is a mile away. Hold on... the sun is covered by clouds. Shoot! Is it gonna rain soon?
I start pushing faster and faster on my board trying my very best to not hit a bump or a rock, and slid down the sidewalks to the store.
Turn left in 20 feet.
My phone GPS spoke to me, and I slammed around the corner, barley keeping my balance.
After what seemed like forever, the store finally came into view. I jumped off my board while still in motion, causing me to rocket forward, but I kept my balance. I slid the board into my backpack and raced inside, grabbing a shopping cart and pulling open my phone for the grocery list.
In all honesty, the cashiers were probably frightened by the young woman crashing around the store like a maniac, and more than a few stares did not go unnoticed. I zipped down the isles, snatching things off the shelves and almost taking out a few people along the way. I finally finished, grabbing the milk from the freezers and riding my cart scooter-style up to the front of the store.
'Maaaybeee self checkout would be best, I think these people think I'm a maniac' I think to myself.
I slowly made my way to an open self checkout station, and start to ring up my items.
"Excuse me?" I heard a voice from behind me say. I turned around to see a nicely dressed woman with spiky blond hair standing behind me. "Yes?" I ask. "I couldn't help but notice the OceanWind agencies logo on your backpack, did you by any chance just move into the house XXXXX?" She asks. "Uhh..." I stare in shock. "Oh right, excuse me! Kinda weird for a stranger to ask you where you live. I'm Mitsuki Bakugo, your new neighbor!" She says, holding out her hand. "Oh! It's lovely to meet you! I'm Y/n l/n And yeah, I guess we are neighbors!" I reply, shaking her hand.
"Hey hag, who the fuck are you talking t-'' The explosive blondie from school earlier says waking up behind her, stopping dead in his tracks when he saw me. He held grocery bags and wore a cyan jacket with ripped black jeans and red vans. "HEY, YOUR THAT EXTRA WHO LAUGHED AT ME TODAY!" He bursts. "Katsuki! Keep it down!" Mitsuki says, whacking the back of his head. "Sorry about him hun, he's a bit on edge... well, all the time." She continued, unamused.
"Oh no it's fine! I'm actually in your sons class at U.A." I say trying my best to hold in the laugher from watching Bakugo being smacked. "Really? Well isn't that a coincidence!" Mitsuki says, smiling.
I finish ringing up my items, and slide my credit card to pay. "Shit." I say. "What's wrong honey?" Mitsuki asked. "I didn't consider the fact that I would have to haul this stuff home! I won't be able to even stand on my skateboard with all the extra weight, much less get it home!" I groan.
"Well allow me to help with that!" Mitsuki says, picking up some of the bags. "I can drive you home honey. It's raining pretty bad anyway, not sure your wheels are meant for wet weather." She offers. "Really? Are you sure?" I ask. "Positive! It's good hospitality, anyway!" Mitsuki says happily. "Thank you, that's such a huge help." I sigh.
"There is no way... I am riding home... with her." Bakugo says, sounding like he's about to blow the building up. "Oh hush! You can ride in the back! Y/n can sit shotgun." She laughs, as we make our way out of the store, leaving a yelling Bakugo trailing behind us.

"So y/n, what exactly did you do to get Katsuki so cold towards you?" Mituski asks, and we drove down the streets, the rain pouring down. Bakugo sat slumping in the backseat, staring out the window.
"ILL TELL YOU WHAT SHE DID! SHE EMBARRASSED ME INFONT OF THE ENTIRE FUCKING CLASS!" Bakugo angrily yells. "I kinda pointed out how he was dog chained at the sports festival..." I hesitantly admit, following Bakugos outburst.
"Pft..." Mitsuki says, covering her mouth with her hand. "Don't... even... try." Bakugo says. "BAHAHAHAHAHA!" Mitsuki bursts out, and I soon followed. "YOU CANT EVEN LIE KATSUKI, THAT WAS HILARIOUS!" Mitsuki rampages. "IM NOT EVEN JOKING WHEN I SAY I SPIT OUT MY DRINK WHEN I WATCHED IT ON T.V!" I spit out, practically loosing my breath and clenching my stomach from laughing.
I turn my head around to see a red faced Bakugo staring me and his mom down. "YOU ARE SO CHILDISH!" He shouts. "GLAD YOU NOTICED!" I replied, trying to catch my breath between wheezes.
I look up to see us approaching our houses, me and Mitsuki still practically dying from laugher. We pull into my driveway, and as soon as the car stops, mitsuki pops the trunk and reaches for an umbrella, but Bakugo had already jumped out of the car and was starting to unload my groceries, not even caring that he was being soaked.
"Dude!" I shout, hoping out of the car myself and going to help him. "You can't just get out and get soaked like that!" I say, snatching a few bags from his hands. "Well look at you, you did it too, didn't you?"
He says smirking, and brushing past my shoulder. I realized that I too was being soaked my the downpour. "THATS NOT EVEN FAIR!" I shout in anger, following Bakugo to my front door with the groceries, his mom still sitting in the car, probably entertained by our antics. "And how so?" He asks, a smirk still taking over his face. "BECAUSE... because..." I struggle to think of a comeback. "That's what I thought." He said, water dripping from his temple and eyelashes, his spiky blond hair being blowed around by the wind.
I whipped my head around and pulled out my keys to unlock the door.
We made our way inside and Bakugo set the groceries on the kitchen table. "See you tomorrow, neighbor." He said, walking backwards and saluting me with two fingers before turning on one heel, and exiting the house shutting the door behind him.
