When I get to my suite I go straight to the bedroom. I drop my bag on the floor near the bed and go to the adjoined bathroom. I start running me a nice hot bath and throw in some lavender scented bubbles and bath salts. While the tub fills with water I go back into the bedroom to call Luke.

He answers on the first ring. “Hello?” he says sounding a tad bit frantic.

Chuckling a little trying to ignore the way my heart both clenched and did a little backflip at the sound of his desperate voice. “Oh, right. Well I’m staying at the Luxury Resort Hotel. I’m in room 1632, that’s the presidential suite. That’ll be all.”

Before I could hang up he stopped me. “Wait! Are you available for dinner and a movie tomorrow night?” he asks almost hesitantly.

“Yeah. Why?” I ask even though I already know the answer

“So I can take you on a date. I’ll pick you up at seven don’t make me wait,” he says, catching me completely off guard with his cocky tone of voice.

“And so what if I do?” I challenge just to be a pain in the ass. You never challenge an alpha unless you want a fight.

“If it comes to it you’ll find out,” he growls and it kind of turns me on – I always did go for the aggressive type.

“Now I really want to know,” I say in a husky voice, as I strip from my clothes and slide into the hot water.

“Don’t play with me Elizabeth,” he says sounding amused and pissed at the same time.

“Aww, the big bad wolf doesn’t want to play with me,” I say in a pouty voice.

“My mother taught me not to play with my food,” he says darkly turning me on all over again.

“So you won’t make an acceptation for your mate? Just once?” I ask in an almost whine.

“Hmmmm, it depends,” he says huskily.

“On….” I say dragging out the word.

“Would you let me?” he asks in a whisper, his voice dark and seductive.

“Hmmmm, it depends,” I say mocking him.

“On….” He laughs.

“I don’t know yet. Let me think about it, and get back to you,” I say letting my voice get a little husky.

“Woman you are going to be the death of me,” he growls.

“Awww that wouldn’t be any fun,” I laugh.

“No, it wouldn’t,” he laughs.

“Well I have to go,” I say.
