As I continue to stare at him, with god knows how many emotions playing across my face, Luke growls again. "MINE!" this time he takes a step forward causing all of the wolves behind me to growl.

Suddenly Eric burst into a fit of laughter making me break eye contact with Luke and stare at him like he lost his damned mind.  I really wanted to punch him for laughing at me. So that's exactly what I did,  I punched him right in his gorgeous face. Laugh at that, I thought smugly as he stopped laughing and grabbed his face.

"But seriously did he really just say what I think he just said?" he ask still rubbing his quickly bruising jaw.

"Yeah," I reply. All I could really think about is how I wasted 9 months of my life searching for someone that I was most likely going to reject anyway. No, no I can't be thinking all negative like that I have to give him a chance maybe he's really sweet and nice and loving... or maybe he's a man-whore that doesn't know what it means to be sweet and nice and loving. My mind is seriously my worst enemy at times like this, always contradicting me. Well now he has 3 months to prove that he is worthy of me.

"I can't believe this but they do say opposites attract." Eric says laughing again. It’s like he enjoys the pain, I think before I punch him on the arm.  "God quit hitting me," he says holding his arm now.

"Then quit laughing at me. Because next time I'm going to hit you were the sun don't shine," I say with a very innocent, very fake smile.

I turn and look in Luke's general direction, with my eyes on a tree yet keeping him in my peripheral vision.

He’s tall maybe 6'5. He has messy, blonde hair that flops over his forehead, and stops just above his eyes.  He has the most stunning, icy, blue eyes that I've ever seen. He has a 6 pack -bordering on 8- and defined muscles like most male weres.  He’s tan and his smooth looking skin has a few battle scars. He has a happy trail that leads to a package that's large even by werewolf standards and that's saying something. His jaw look like it’s chiseled from marble or something. he has perfectly straight pearly whites that he was currently grounding together as he held himself back because I was still ass naked standing next to an ass naked Eric.

My wolf kept whining saying that we should go to him, and I kept replying that he could be a man-whoring jerk that might reject us anyway because I wasn't much to look at. I'm 5'3 with long curly brown hair that reaches my waist.  I have wide hazel eyes and smooth skin that's not quite pale but not quite tan either.  My full pink lips are just a little too big for my face. I have an hourglass figure that's just a little too curvy for my liking - although guys seem to love it. The only thing I really like about myself is my double Ds.  I'm not saying I'm ugly I just don't think I'm beautiful. The words pretty or cute describes me in my humble opinion.

"So what now?" Eric asks suddenly serious.

Stepping away from him I say, "We came here to do business so that's what we'll do.  Anything else can wait until later." I’m looking Luke in the eye daring him to say anything.

And the dumbass he is he actually started to protest.  "But--"

Cutting him off and remaining as calm as possible I say, "I said not now." I may or may not have used my alpha voice because while he may already be an alpha and I'm only a future alpha my bloodline makes me more powerful. Royalty remember. “now alpha Luke Steele how many men do you need to pass through this territory?"

Still looking confused he replies, "Just 9"

I turn to Eric. “Alpha Eric Harding will you let his men pass through your land unharmed?"

looking more than slightly amused at the situation Eric replies, "yes?" making it sound like a question.

"Good now problem solved.  We’ll be on our way now," I say before quickly shifting back to my wolf.

"Wait are you serious?" Luke asks. When I only stare at him he turns to Eric. "Is she serious?"

Laughing Eric replies, "yes, all I can tell you is she'll talk about it whenever she's ready to talk about it.” Eric shifted back to his wolf.

I could tell Luke wanted to say more but he just whined and shifted back to his wolf.  he held eye contact the entire time trying to convey a message that I didn't want to receive,  so I turned away and started running back to Eric's house.  I heard Eric running closely behind me, soon the rest of his men and women where running with us.

When we finally reached Eric's house I was about to shift when a howl that spoke of pain and agony filled the otherwise quiet night's air.  I instantly knew who it was, I also had to suppress one myself.
