Authors POV
The Kangs sibling is still unconscious while their parents are in the edge of their life while lying inside the ambulance. It took hours for the rescuers to get them out on their car because of the sudden heavy rain.
The Jung family immediately run to the hospital after receiving a call about what happened to the sudden car accident of their family friend. While waiting for the Kangs to arrive at the hospital Mrs. Jung is having a hard time to take all the information inside her head questioning his husband what must have cause the accident while on the other hand their young daughter Soojung is still in daze wondering what is happening,why going to hospital so sudden. "Dad what's going on are we visiting a patient here?" Soojung asked while looking at her parents.
"Let's wait for awhile okay? let's just pray that everything is going to be fine" her father said with a teary eyes, even though the latter still don't understand she follow what her father said and wait for the person they've been waiting for.
Later then a group of medical team was running while going inside the emergency room bringing two people with clothes full of blood, after the Jungs notice it they immediately went there and was shocked specially the young Soojung after seeing Jiseul and her childhood friend's body and clothes were full of blood. Then the sudden realization hit Mr. Jung noticing the Kang sibling's parents weren't beside them. "Excuse me where are the parents of this two patients?" Mr. Jung asked the doctor
"I'm sorry everyone but the parents of this two patients didn't make it alive on our way here at the hospital if you may excuse us we still need to save these patients they're currently in critical". Said the doctor while nudging the Jungs to make way.
After hearing what the doctor said Mrs. Jung almost faint after the shocking news they received they can't believe what just happen. "No that can't be happening those siblings are still young to lost there parents no.. no... Please honey tell me this... this can't be happening it's Seulgi's birthday today why does this thing need to happen oh!my god...what did they do to deserve this the kids are still young..." Mrs. Jung said crying while hugging her husband who's breaking down too. While their daughter Soojung is just starting on the wall still processing what she just heard.
Seulgi's POV
Ughh..... What just happened I asked my self, I ended woking up realizing I'm at the hospital trying to remember what happen when suddenly I remember my parents and Jiseul.
I was about to stand up when suddenly Soojung and her parents went to me stopping me to stand.
"No... auntie, auncle I need to find mom and dad where are they where's Jiseul?" I asked them while still panicking.
"Seulgi come down.... lay down first okay you're not heal yet, Jiseul is still on the operating room the doctors are trying there best to save your sister so don't panic anymore okay you're sister can make it so you need to rest too so you can visit your sister after" Auntie said with puffy eyes.
"Auncle where's mom... there fine right how about dad? Please auntie tell me where are they?" I pleaded
"Are you hungry we'll get you some foods, How about fruits you want some?" Auncle asked avoiding my question. "Auncle where are they? they are fine right?" I asked again while looking at them waiting for their answer.
Suddenly Soojung's mom hold my hand while trying not to cry. "Noo...no... it's not what it looks like right? no....it can't be no...no... please auntie they're alive right please tell me." I asked them pleading them to tell me nothing happened to them but looks like they aren't listening.
"Seulgi ahh... I'm sorry but the doctor said your parents didn't make it alive while they rescue them, I'm so sorry... Please.... Seulgi" auntie said.
After hearing that it feels like my world suddenly stop all I want to do is to look for them. "Auncle where are they..... tell me your lying right? they're alive right they promised me, dad even said after we went home I still need to blow my candle and we will play golf tomorrow..... Please tell me your just lying right auncle.... please tell me, they... they promised me, it's my birthday today tell me if you're just joking auntie....please stop lying to me it's not funny anymore. I don't want to lose them, no not on my birthday" I said trying to stop my self from crying while looking at them my head starting to hurt but it doesn't matter anymore I need to see them with my two eyes seeing the alive.
2 MONTHS LATER
It's been two months now after what happened to mom and dad it's still hurt remembering my last memory of them. Ever since I lost them I wasn't the old bubbly Seulgi anymore I suffered depression too but I need to stay strong for my sister Jiseul ever since that accident, my sister is still in her coma the doctor said if my sister won't wake up in the following weeks they will cut out all life source and the machine who helps my sister to breath. They said my sister will be brain dead if she doesn't wake up that's why I always stay here in my sister room in the hospital telling her words to wake her up.
Soojung and her parents take care of me and my parent's funeral, they let me stay to their house too..... so I won't be alone and I don't want to go back in our house too it will only hurts me more because it looks like every corner of our house it will remind me of them and I'm scared that if I lost my self know one will take care of my sister I can't just leave her in Mr. and Mrs Jung they have their own life too I don't want to be a burden.
"Jiseul ahh ireona....(wake up) I think you got your self fully healed now, you need to wake up too you know your the one I only have now. Hahahah" I laughed trying to get rid of my aching heart. It hurts....it freaking hurts but I need to stay strong, my sister needs me.
END OF FLASHBACK
3 YEARS LATER......
At Ansan Byeolmang Middle School
Authors POV
"Hey Gomseul! your daydreaming again. Are you even listening?" Soojung asked while looking at the bear who's staring at the wall
"Probably thinking of her prescious pringles again."
"FYI Yuri, yes I love pringles but it doesn't mean even in my daydreams it still pringles." Seulgi said to yuri
"Yeah...yeahh... says the one who answered ramen in recitation yesterday because of hunger." Yuri talked back while teasing Seulgi.
"You all thinking wrong our handsome Seulgi here is probably thinking about girls mind sharing my friend?" Bobby asked while smirking.
"How about I'll throw you to the window now would that be answered your question my friend?" Seulgi said using her cold voice again.
But instead of Bobby being scared he still teasing the bear by asking "How about I introduce you to the hot chick I saw at the cafeteria yesterday, who knows you might fall for her?"
"Try selling Seulgi to those girls again and you will end up going to school tomorrow with a bald head you want that?" Soojung said scaring Bobby
Suddenly their teacher in history went inside to there classroom greeting them. " Okay class good morning today we will be having a new lesson to learn again but before that I'm gonna share to you all first a wonderful story about the two lovers The moon and the River".
After hearing what their teacher said all their attention was immediately focused to their teacher even Seulgi who always hate history thinking all the lesson about it was boring but now looks like she also want to hear the story so she looks at their teacher waiting to continue the interesting story.
