chapter 35: Imposter

"Levi, what the fuck are you doing?" You said, Levi got up and exhaled harshly as he sat down.

"Sorry for the ruckus, I didnt want to make noise that'd attract attention." Levi said, as he was ruffling his hands through his hair.

"now will you explain to me, what where the hell you were, and why you are dressed like.. a thief?" You said looking up and down at Levi's nasty self.

"yeah, Sorry. I kind of, went back to uh youre hometown, and dealt with some thugs. but dont worry i'm fine now." He said, he looked up at you.

"Levi, how dare you lie to me?" You said with youre hands on youre hips Levi inahled and exhaled deeply.

"y/n, youre gonna have to stay away from me.." Levi said rubbing his face, you were officially CONFUSED.

"Levi can you please be fucking clear, goddamn!" you said angrily, getting furious at the fact Levi wasnt even telling you.

"I messed up, I went back for something and I ended up attracting thugs that were out for me. and I went unarmed. They held me hostage for a while, until I broke out. I'm pretty sure they're following me right now." Levi explained everything to you, how stupid he acted.

"holy fuck Levi, not only did you put yourself in danger, you put everyone in danger.. why would you act so recklessly?" you said angrily, Levi looked down frowning, acknowledging his mistake. You noticed that he was upset and was doubting himself. You sighed, and crouched to Levi's height.

"hey, look at me." You said, he hesitated to look at you.

"I cant even look at you, I let you down y/n" he rubbed his eyes.

"i said LOOK AT ME!" you shouted at him, he looked at you making eye contact with you.

"listen, even if you act rashly and do things you aren't supposed to. I'll always find a way to get you out of it." You said, holdng his face. He closed his eyes and got comfortable in youre hands.

"I'm sorry y/n" he said, you hugged him tightly rubbing his back.

"it's okay, dont worry my love." you said calming him down, you broke the hug and wiped the dirt off his face.

"how about a shower hm?" You asked him, he smiled and nodded. He got up and walked towards the bathroom. You sighed and held you're head processing everything Levi had told you.

"its alright, we'll fight them off. it cant be worse than that, probably just a group of 3-4 people. what's the worst that can happen." You said calming yourself down. Just then someone knocked on the door, you got up and walked towards the door opening it. It wad a random person, you've never seen.

"how may i help you?" You said raising an eyebrow.

"is Levi in here?" he asked, you looked at Levi, and nodded no the man was about to leave.

"who are you, if i may ask?" You said, he looked at you and turned around.

"im.. uh-" he hesitated to say, you could tell he was an imposter. he just has to say the right thing.

"are you Reiner?" You asked, he looked at you and nodded. You smiled.

"oh, good to know. come in Reiner." you let him in, he walked in at that moment Levi came out the bathroom, both of them seeing each other. You closed the door, and grabbed a glass bottle that was on you're table. You instantly hit his head with the bottle, glass pieces of the bottle fell and so did he you sighed.

"now tell me who the fuck this guy is." You said
