Chapter 36: Who is this?

"now tell me who the fuck this guy is." You said as you were breathing heavily. Levi looked at you and back to the stranger.

"I don't know him,." Levi responded without making any sort of contact. You felt like Levi was hiding something from you, but you just couldn't find any reason why he would lie to you in the first place.

"come on Levi! give me something please! who are these people! and why are they coming after you!" you yelled hoping to get some answers out of Levi who was sitting there quietly.

"Fine. Don't tell me." You said looking at him seriously. He looked up at you with his eyes showing you all the pain he endured. You felt very bad for him and just wanted him to feel like he wont be judged and okay. So you went up to him and hugged him by his head, pulling him close to you. Close enough to hear your heartbeat. He hugged you very tightly and buried his face into your chest.

"I got a letter saying Kenny was alive.." Levi spoke.
"I didn't believe it at first, up until I seen.." He cried, you softened at him breaking. It was just too heartbreaking to see him cry, no matter how bad it was he is still traumatized..
You grab him and kiss him. Levi was shocked but gave in to you in no time. You broke the kiss with a tear falling down your cheek, connecting with his.
"Don't worry.. You dont have to continue" You whispered to him kissing his forehead.

"Just.. go freshen up." You pushed him towards the door giving him the look wiping your stuffed nose, looking at the body which didnt seem to be moving?.. Levi nodded lightly & turned around to freshen up. & The body was still not moving or seem to be breathing.
You rushed to the body & checked the persons pulse to find none. Your eyes widened, as you stepped back.
"Fuck" You whispered underneath your breath and exhaled very deeply. You held your head and walked back and forth, thinking about ways to dispose of this body & make sure it doesnt lead to Levi at all.

"Pockets.." Your eyes widened at the thought you had. You ran and checked on the body for anything, till you felt something. You pulled it out to see a bunch of small papers, with one of them being Levi's pictures..
Your eyes widened at the picture
"It cant be.." you said softly looking closer. You sniffled again and put the picture away. You continued to search the man to find yet another paper. You opened it & read the letter till all of a sudden your head started hurting, with your vision going blurry. With how much pain you were in, you scrunched the paper up. But.. it stopped.

"Fuck man, this is too much" You kept mumbling to yourself putting it all in your pocket.
It seems that everytime you open the paper it hurts your head and blurs your vision which is extremely odd.
You continued to search, and found nothing.
You grabbed the mans leg and dragged him towards the window by the bed, as you were doing that you spotted something on the body. He was already bleeding from the side, it looks like a stab wound. You wiped the blood off your hand in disgust, and realized..

As soon as Levi came, you didn't help but notice a knife in Levi's pocket, but since it didnt fit you were able to see that there was a little blood on it.
You immediately caught on & knew, you sighed and wiped the sweat off your face.
"Oh baby.." You said softly walking up to the knife that fell on the floor, underneath the bed.You picked it up..
"I cant risk losing him..
They'll find him & frame him. But they will never know, and if they do.. I did it." You thought of a plan that you convinced yourself to go through with.

You inhaled & exhaled very loudly, As you ran towards the body continuing to push it out the window. You made sure to cover the body as good as you can.
As you tried to push the body, you kept getting tired because you werent able to push him out.
You kept inhaling and exhaling, and put all your strength into your arms and legs managing to finally push him out.
You crouched as you were panting and breathing very heavily. You were about to go through the window forgetting you needed to be covered. You grabbed Levi's cape and snuck out.

You looked around to make sure no one was around but you seen a light. You quickly ducked and kept your eye on the light, to see it moving farther away from you.
You grabbed the mans arms and discreetly tried dragged his body towards the open area by the grounds. You were very close to it but then everything went bright and white. You looked to see a night guard flashing their light at you.
Your eyes widened, as you quickly covered your face.

"Hey! You!-
What are you doing-" His eyes widened as he angrily ran towards you.
"N-No listen!" You shouted at him as he stepped back with his hands in a fist. Moblit.

"Y/n What are you doing!" He looked at you with his eyes still widened at the sight.
"M-Moblit.. Listen. This person is an imposter who impersonated Reiner!
A-And he tried to attack me and I pushed him off." You explained with the fear overcoming your body, You were calm outside panicking on the inside trying to figure out a way out of this without being caught.

With your records, especially because of your Criminal life no one is gonna believe me besides Levi. But it'd be two words against a dead body. I cant let Levi go like this, it'd be even worse if it was him that was caught.
I cant let that happen.
"Then why are you dragging him? Is he even alive?!" Moblit shouted with the fear of not just the body but of you, that even you could feel it.
"No.." You said softly.
Moblit's gasped and look at you giving you a very.. threatening look. Not that you were scared of him, you could easily take him on. It's just that he sees you in a state he never has, and it just looks very bad on your end.

"Y/n.. I cant. I have too" He said, as he reached into his pocket pulling out a walkie. Your eyes widened, but your reflex took over. You crouched, and kicked the walkie out of his hand as you charged at him making him knock out in your arms slowly settling him to lay down on the ground.
"I'm sorry. Forgive me, I must to this." You whispered to him as you laid him
all the way down. You wiped your tears and held back all your emotions that were urging to come out. You turned to the Imposters body
"Your turn."
