"Jagga-nim, hard copies are now ready for endorsement to your publisher."

"Really? That was fast." I said while sliding my arm inside my coat.

It usually takes days or even weeks of proofreading, language and technical editing before we can proceed to the next step. I didn't see this coming nor expected a speedy phase but I guess my team is in a hurry to finally relax and take a break from work since it's been days of sleepless nights already.

"Good job, Sung Joon-ah! But I have a slight request please.."

"Sure, what is it, Jagga-nim?"

"I need to talk to someone first. I'll just text you for updates about the publishing... Don't do anything yet in the meantime." I requested.

Almost a year has passed since my mom and I went to Valleta ; almost a year has passed since we last saw Mr. Cassano, time flies so fast and a lot faster than a rocket ship I guess. Mom is planning our annual girl vacation again but this time we will bring Dad with us and we could put this in our records as our first trip together with Dad outside South Korea. Ever since we returned, my mom looked so much better,  recharged and refreshed but I know she's still coping up little by little and it's okay, it all turned out just fine.

I have written a lot of novels, shared stories and published books but today's publishing is by far the most important publishing of my entire career to date. I have chosen a story based on my perspective as an author and storyteller; moreover, my perspective also as a daughter.
But before anything happens, I would like to take this moment and spend time with the person who has held my heart since day one.

"Are you 10 years old again?"

"What??"

"You only loved picnics at that baby age of yours until you started hating the whole picnic idea." while carrying the basket.

"I still hate eating spicy food at this age but it doesn't mean I'm five years old again.." and we both laughed.

I prepared a mini picnic date for us because it's been a while since the  last time I sat beside this person again and I've been wanting to do this and spend quality time together.

"Okay so what's going on with your life?"

"I'll move out from my apartment in Itaewon and move to Gangnam next week.." I happily shared.

"Is the construction of your new house in Gangnam already done? You still need to have it checked first before moving in."

"Yeah, the architect just called me yesterday and said I can start transferring my furniture today."

"Wow, look at you.. All grown up and mature."

"I've outgrown your lap already and in less than a decade... I'll turn 40."

"Well in case you forgot...even if you turn 100 tomorrow.. you will forever be my baby girl... you are my only princess." and pinched my cheeks, as always, the habit is still there. "Okay so why did you suddenly arrange this? I know you're such a busy person and can't even make time for me." We sat together on the blanket I prepared.

"Are you being a baby right now? Of course I'll always free up my schedule for you."
I said. This person's specialty is to make me feel guilty.
