Chapter 2: The Journey

Fionna's pov

I woke up in the morning confused about what he meant in my dream, and why he called me fi, nobody ever called me that. Delicious scents filled my nose and I went downstairs to see cake making blueberry waffles, they are my favorite. "This looks amazing Cake, thanks" I said with a smile, "no prob Fionna, anything for you." Then we happily ate breakfast. Cake and I went to the candy kingdom to take a relaxing walk. Then I bumped into a hard figure and fell, it was the vampire who saved me. He said sorry and then we talked and he's a really cool guy. "Can I cone hang out with you at your house tomorrow Fionna? " asked Marshall. "Yeah, sure" I smiled, then me and Cake went home. Then we went to bed, the next day I woke up to Bmo screaming at me "Fionna get up!!! Prince Gumball has a important mission for you to complete. " I rubbed my eyes "oh ok, can I eat breakfast first? " I asked, "yeah ". I ate breakfast and then I went to the candy kingdom. "Fionna! welcome, okay the mission is very important. " Gumball said."What is it Gumball? " I asked "you and Cake need to defeat these lava dragons that keep attacking my kingdom, they live very far in the lava kingdom, so you will need to make a huge journey there. " Gumball requested. "Okay gummy, we're on it! " Cake and I left immediately towards the lava kingdom and I feel like I forgot something... Marshall. I completely forgot he's coming over, oh no. I sighed and kept walking. "Cake... I forgot Marshall was supposed to come over, do you think he'll be mad? " I asked, "probably, but he knows we are adventures so he will probably think we are on one and might give up. " said Cake. "I sure hope so...", then I saw a huge group of venomous snakes and then cake noticed, I got out my sword and started slicing them in half and she swatted the rest away with her huge tail because she made herself big. "Good job Cake! " I high fived her. Then we were walking and freaking fell in a huge hole in the ground and the top was closed by someone. I heard Ice Queen laugh and then nothing. "I thought it was her, UGH Cake what are we going to do?" I said "I know what I'm gon' do. " Cake said, and then she turned into the shape of a bear and clawed an opening through the top. "You go Cake!!" I praised her, then she lifted us out of the hole and we kept walking.
