Elizabeth was sitting at her desk looking at the television. Henry had a speech to do in front of many people. "...So if we continue to do such things," Henry was saying and then he fell to the ground bleeding out. He had just been shot. The love of her life was dying in front of her eyes. She stood up from her chair and tried to walk out of the door but her staff held her back. "...he's gone. You can't do anything about it," One of them said. Elizabeth still tried to get through but then gave up and started crying. "...Henry. He's gone. Love of my life. Father of my children. Gone. Dead," she said between sobs. Then she started hearing someone call her name. "Elizabeth. Elizabeth?," Elizabeth's eyes fluttered open. She looked up and around. Conrad Dalton sat in front of her. She was at her desk with many, many files and papers , surrounding her. "Finally. I've been trying to wake you up for at least 10 minutes now," Conrad says. "Wait... I was sleeping?," She asked. "Yeah," he replies. "Thank God,"Elizabeth says, a tear sliding down her cheek. "I came by to let you know Henry has a speech that he has to do in an hour, in front of lots of people. It's now close to 20 minutes now," Conrad tells Elizabeth.
