I watched as Y/N made her way to the castle. She was a little dizzy after we ordered two butter beers and night was beginning to come.

We were in the hallways, walking towards the Slytherin common room when she stopped in her tracks.

"Y/N?"

She looked at me with begging eyes, "Can we go stargazing?" I thought about it for a moment.

I didn't really have anything else to do so I shrugged, "Why no?t" she jumped in excitement while I chuckled at the sight. She shoved a finger, signaling for me to wait and stormed into the common room and came back with a small speaker and her iPod.

"Are we stargazing or throwing a party?"

She gasped dramatically, "Why, you can never go wrong with music, Lorenzo." I rolled my tongue in my mouth and shook my head.

We walked in linking arms towards our secret spot near the black lake.

Ironic isn't it? Two friends who has an on and off friendship, always arguing, having a secret spot? Yeah. I ask myself that for years.

We layed on a log and sat in comfortable silence. We watched as we made out constellations with the shining stars.

"Look there. A Little Dipper," she points her hands towards the sky.

"An Ursa Minor, love." I corrected her, "No one says Little Dipper."

"Uh, yes they do,"

"Alright who?" She looked at me with a questioning face

"Suddenly I'm no one." she looks down 'sadly', "don't hit me up, only real ones will know,"

"Oh piss off." I push her away as she giggled.

"Hey, did you feel that?" I asked her. I felt a drop on my arm and looked at the sky.

Dark grey clouds started to form and soon it was pouring rain. I look over to Y/N who was smiling crazy—she loves rain so much, I don't really know why.

She took out her speaker and iPod, "How do you feel about Cigarettes after Sex?" She asked.

"Uh—I've never thought of us like that," soon she started to burst of laughter while she left me confused with my answer.

"No dumbass," she pressed on her iPod and it started playing music, "It's a band." she lend me a hand and helped me stand up.

"Would you care for a dance?" She asked, bowing.

"Aren't I supposed to do that?"

"Well you took too long so I did it." I snorted and played along. I put my hands on her waist as she placed hers around my neck and we started to dance along to the song.

Huh. I've got to be brutally honest but, I'm surprised how I've never really noticed her beauty. How she has soft H/C, or ( red/pink/peach) lips.

She's pretty—like. Really pretty.

Woah. What the actual fuck? I push that weird fact away and tried to think of something else.

What in Merlin is happening? I gulp down hard and tensed up. Y/N noticed and stopped dancing.

"Enzo is everything alright?"

"Yep," I lied.

She scoffed and placed her hand on her hips, "You're a shit liar you know?" She yelled through the pouring rain

"I'm fine. Can we dance again?"

"Only if you tell me what's wrong after," she place out her pinky and I tied mine with hers.

"Promise," I whispered. We stared into each other's eyes and I tug a smile.

I place my hands on her waist again but this time, she takes them in hers and leads me out in the open. The rain was much harder with no trees covering you but it felt nice.

"C'mon Enzo, loosen up a little," Y/N started to jump around and play with puddles—she looked like a little kid.

Come on Enzo. Let's fill up your missing childhood.

I took a deep breath and followed her. It was so fucking fun—why hadn't I tried this? I laughed and continue to play under the pouring rain.

The song changed into Sweater Weather by the neighbourhood. I close my eyes and listened to the music.

I love this band. As the lyrics came, we started blasting our voices and sang really terribly. I watched with a smile as Y/N danced under the rain, jumping on puddles and laughing with her hands out.

It felt as if the world and time stopped for me.

For me to watch her.
