THE OLDEST UNDAGGERED ORIGINAL KEPT HIS FACE NEUTRAL AS HE recalled informing Niklaus he wished to talk about a pressing matter when they were done entertaining the Salvatores, and his brother had surprisingly agreed, to the Nobles great shock. And while he sat with his half-brother and the Salvatore brothers, Elijah could only bring himself to half listen to the conversation, his mind preoccupied with thoughts of his nephew. The nephew that was currenting waiting in the car, out of harms way, as he slowly heals from what the witches did to him.
It angered the Original that the moment the two of them had left the cemetery Corey had let his façade crumble before his eyes, to show a boy who couldn't even hold himself up because he had been poisoned with so many supernatural ingredients. Elijah had had to carry him bridle style back to his car, not being able to do anything to help his nephew as it was impossible to speed up the process of ridding the body of poison, let alone ones designed to kill and/or severely harm the creatures that made up the tribrid. As a result the skin that had been rubbed raw from the chains wasn't healing, as the chimeras healing abilities had focused more on flushing the poison out then helping him physically.
Having been moving on auto pilot all throughout the dinner, Elijah didn't realise what was happening until he was snapped back to reality by the sound of his now undaggered siblings attacking their half-brother. The Noble Original just stood back and watched as Finn and Rebekah used the daggers, that had been in their chests for 9 centuries and decades respectively, to stab Niklaus in the hand and stomach while Kol held the Hybrid, stopping him from moving away from them.
Taking a step forward in order to stop his two brothers and little sister from hurting Niklaus too much, he wanted his half-brother in one piece when he introduced him to the hybrids son, Elijah suddenly remembered that the Salvatore brothers were still in attendance. He was stopped from dismissing them, though, by the sound of the doors being pushed open, a figure he'd thought he wouldn't ever see again stepping through. His mother.

Esther Mikaelson was as beautiful as the day she was killed, of that Elijah was certain. Her blonde hair fell in gentle waves down her back, her cyan eyes, of which both Niklaus and his son had inherited, shone with hidden intention. The Mikaelson matriarch wore the clothes Elijah, Klaus and Rebekah had dressed her in for her funeral over a thousand years ago, showing just how different the world was now compared to back then.
The woman spared but a glance at her other children before she set her sights on the son born of her indiscretion, and she spoke for the first time, "Look at me! Do you know why I am here?"
Niklaus peaked up at her through his lashes, tears threatening to fall from his eyes, as his voice shook, "You're here to kill me." That caused Elijah to straighten, not wanting his brother harmed, for he knew Corey wanted to know his dad and he can't do that if the boys father was dead.
But he was proven to not be needed as the oldest female in the room corrected her child, "You are my son, Niklaus, and I am here to forgive you." Esther turned to look at the rest of her offspring, "I want us to be a family again."

Once their mother had left to find some more modern clothes, Niklaus turned towards his older brother, "Now Elijah, what is it you wished to tell me?"
Shooting a glance at the Salvatores, the noble Original looked directly into his brothers cyan orbs, "What I am about to tell you is nothing but the truth, I swear to you brother."
The Hybrid rolled his eyes, irritation clear in his tone, "Well get on with it then." Elijah sighed, choosing to deal with the Salvatore's after they had their conversation, they'd find out about Corey sooner or later anyway.
"You have a child, Niklaus."
