Prologue
Kristin's POV
Today was the day i was going to finally get out of this house and find a job. There was an opening for an assistant at Grant Incorporated in New York. My interview was at 9:30 a.m.
I went to school for buisiness and got my bachelor's degree. So i basically had all the requirements for the position.
Im twenty seven years old and i live with my father. Its a shame he keeps me here at this house locked away like im Rapunzel.
Every since my mother died when i was eleven, my father has been abusing me. Sometimes he even mistakes me for her. Most of the time hes criticizing me about my body and telling me how he should have never fucked my mom because she was a vampire.
I get beatings almost everyday because my dad is always saying that i never do the chores right around the house.
