A lilac[family] that grows in winter

Warmth?

Ranboo POV:

It's warm. It's even warmer than I thought. As warm as when you come inside after a long time in 

the winter snow. I suppose that might've been exactly what happened, but still. It's strange I 

haven't been warm in what seems like eons. Why exactly am I like this? Where am I? 

What..happened?

"Oh good they're finally up,' I heard a man say who sounded very wise, almost like he's been 

through ages of adventure filled with knowledge of the unknown. I quickly snap back into my 

senses realizing again where am I exactly? Also who is this man? I quickly sat up as my eyes 

quickly bursted wide open. A sharp pain shooting quickly throughout my whole entire body as I 

do so. It felt as though my body had been through a thousand different wars and massacres at 

the same time, like old wounds being reopened, like a final call for lady death herself.

"Hey, hey, mate calm down we're not here to hurt you," my eyes quickly darted to a younger 

man, maybe in his mid-early twenties who sat on the arm of the couch that I appear to have 

awoken up on. His voice was calming but still with plenty of hints of joy towards the ends of his 

sentences. He also had an accent which was light, but not too light that it'd float away and be 

lost within the other tones. The man also had a brown curly mop of hair which was kept pushed 

towards the front with a maroon beanie.

They must've known how practically petrified I was. All I know is that I needed to get out of 

there. It's not like I remember if I willingly walked in here, but still following my gut never hurt. 

As soon as I get out of here I can look over my book. One moment I'm one their couch and the 

next I'm bounding towards the door as fast as my feet could carry me. Though the pain was 

immeasurable that shot through my whole body I still ran. All I know is to run. Though I felt like a 

decaying rose, like my limbs will slowly fall one by one, I ran... until I couldn't.
