Chapter 1- His perfect secretary

[Taehyung's office]

"Secretary Y/n, my-"

"Here is your hot chocolate with less sugar as always" I said placing the cup on his table. Taking a sip of it, he tightened his lips indicating the taste was good. At least that's what I learned after working with him for 2 years

"Sir for the launch of our new product, I would be needing your signatures on a few documents. You have a meeting with the board members later this afternoon. You also have to visit your brothers after the meeting for proposals related to Mr. James from Paris" I said reading his schedule for today

"Anything else?" He asked going through the documents

"You'll have to attend a party arranged by your mom and dad related to your marriage" I said making him sigh. I very well knew he didn't believe in marriage or stuffs but his mother requested me and I couldn't say no to her

"Tell them I'm busy for such parties" He replied with his usual cold tone

"Mr. Kim, your mother personally requested me for your presence and I think you should listen to your mother for once" I said calmly

"Fine! You'll go with me too, we'll discuss about the projects in the middle" He said. As much as I wanted to decline the offer, I promised to Mrs. Kim so without thinking twice, I agreed.

[Time skip: Personal meeting]

"... and in the perfume, we'll add 5% of lavender essence" Seokjin said examining the papers

"You're wrong" Taehyung interrupted making both of his brothers look at him with a confused expression

"What's wrong Taehyung?" Namjoon asked

"It's not 5%, it's 4.36% of lavender essence with 0.64% with some other essence to balance the smell of lavender" Taehyung replied 

"You don't need to point our mistakes every time!" Seokjin exclaimed

"It's not my fault, you guys make frequent mistakes and being a CEO, I should correct them" Taehyung replied making his brothers sigh

"I wonder how secretary Y/n manages up with him" Seokjin said frustrated 

"Exactly! Taehyung got a perfect secretary unlike my secretary who is the reason behind why I had to change shirts every now and then. If she can't walk in heels, what's the point of wearing them and continuously spilling coffee over me!" Namjoon exclaimed making Seokjin giggle except for Taehyung who had a poker face on

"At least your secretary spills coffee. My secretary once had put the documents of the meeting in the paper guillotine machine saying it looked like a Xerox machine" Seokjin replied laughing

'I got a perfect secretary? She's my perfect secretary' Taehyung thought while going through the documents

[Time skip: Y/n's house before the party]

"Where are you going now? It's already 9" Jimin asked looking at me who was standing in front of the mirror fixing my dress

"Oh, I didn't tell you. I'm going to accompany Mr. Kim to his family party" I replied still fixing my look

"Family party? Why is he taking you there?" Jimin asked

"Actually, his mom asked me to bring him to that party no matter what, and his condition was I also have to accompany him cause we'll discuss some meeting related things in the middle" I replied making Jimin sigh

"Y/n, where are you off to?" My dad asked

"I'm going to accompany Mr. Kim to his family function" I replied

"You mean your cold as ice boss?"

"Dad!" I said

"Wait, what if he drugs you and sells you to-"

"Oh my god, dad calm down! I've been working with him for 2 years. He's a nice person, he maybe cold but I know he is a warm-hearted person" I replied calmly

"If that's what you say..." He said exiting the room

"You want me to drop you?" Jimin asked

"Huh? No, he's coming to pick me up" I said

Moments later, someone knocked on the door. I opened the door, revealing neatly dressed, Mr. Kim in a black tuxedo. His hair styled with only a strand of hair on his forehead.

"Good evening, Mr. Kim" I said bowing

"Good evening, Secretary Y/n" He greeted

"Secretary Y/n"

"Yes, Mr. Kim?"

"How do I look?" He asked fixing his tie

"Handsome as always" I replied as I knew he liked these types of complements

"Hmm. I informed my mother than you'll be coming too and she was happy" He said

"That's my honor sir" I replied bowing

"Let's go. I want to end this party as fast as possible" He said walking towards his car while I followed him with a purse in my hand

[Time skip: The party]

After driving for an hour, we finally reached Mr. Kim's house. It was huge, though I've been here many times, yet it was decorated beautifully every time I visited. We were greeted by Mr. Kim's mom and dad who were delighted to see me as his mother hugged me and welcomed me warmly. Taking a glass of champagne in one hand, I followed Mr. Kim as he talked about some meeting related things. We were interrupted when Mr. and Mrs. Kim came towards us followed by his brothers and a girl

"Taehyung! Keep your business aside for one day!" His mother said making him sigh and I could say he was clearly bored

"Why did you arrange this party, mom and dad?" Taehyung asked straightforward

"To spend time with you..." His dad replied with a nervous laughter

"You think I'm dumb?" Taehyung asked raising one eyebrow

"No" His dad replied almost immediately

"Then? Why did you call me here?" He asked once again

"Son, don't you think you're old enough to get married and give us grandkids before we die?" His mother asked

"You know I don't believe in marriage and stuffs? And I hate kids" Taehyung replied making his parents sigh

"I don't care! This Seong-Kyung and you're getting married to her!" Mrs. Kim said pointing at the girl next to her 

"I can't!" Taehyung replied almost immediately

"Why can't you?" Mr. Kim asked 

"Because.... I have a girlfriend!" He replied making everyone choke on their drink while I looked at him with wide eyes. Of course, it's hard to believe someone as cold as ice to have girlfriend. 

"What!? Who is it?" Mr. Kim Seokjin asked quiet excited about the fact that his cold as ice brother had a girlfriend and they didn't know about it

"It's... Secretary Y/n!"
