the next morning

Spongebob woke up and went to the kingdom for his duty. He didn't wear his mask and saw squidward on the throne bored. He smiled and bowed. "Good morning squiddy!" Spongebob said happily, squidward rolled his eyes "ew what kind of a nickname is squiddy? Its disgusting.." he said in disgust.

Spongebob responded "squiddy is adorable!" Squidward stood up to the throne and left. Spongebob saw squich cleaning on the floor. He greets her and had a small chat. "Hey there squich!" Squich noticed spongebob and got up "hey spongebob! What's up? I finished cleaning the floor."

Spongebob whispered to squich "hey squich what is going on with squidward? He was happy yesterday.." squich whispered back "well you see.. when he was just a boy he uses to be free outside but he grew up bored on the throne and he looks lazy.. but when he was saved with the guy in the mask he smiled the first time! He havent seen him smile in years.." squich said honestly.

Spongebob blushed harder squich questioned "uh... spongebob are you okay? You're turning tomato.." spongebob slapped hiself "listen squich.. the truth is.. i am that guy with the mask and the reason why i wore that is i dont want him to see my face that i saved him.. and i couldn't know how to talk to him.. i dont think he wants to talk to me.." squich's light bulb lit up "hey i have an idea! You should wear the mask and keep talking to him! I think he likes you with a mask on!"

Squiches said fangirling inside spongebob smiled "thanks squich! Thats a great idea im going now!" "You're welcome." Spongebob took a peek to the hall and saw squidward walking he immediatly wore his mask and talked to him. "Hey there my prince~" he said confidently. Squidward blushed and immediatly pushed him "stop calling me that!"

Spongebob asked "why not? Am i too charming to you? Dear prince?" Squidward mumbled "its.. embarrasing.." spongebob heard him while mumbling "what did you say my prince?" He said flirting at him. "Just stop calling me that!" Squidward said. "Okay then.. prince tentacles ofcourse?" Squidward said nothing but they both walked to the halls. "So.. what do you do spending your entire life within these castle.?"

Spongebob said beginning the conversation. "Well.. nothing most.. all i only do is paint art.. make some new music sheets and play my clarinet. What about you? I honestly haven't know you from the start and even your name." Spongebob thinked of a name. "Oh! Umm my name is Bernard! And all i do is guard and protect the village..but for my free time i dont do anything.." spongebob said with a sweat and struggle what he would say next.

Squidward went to his room and accepted bernard to come inside. "Umm.. prince tentacles? I think we should get to know more alot eachother.. bernard said blushing and his fingers rolling. Squidward grinned "knock yourself out im all ears.." bernard began "what's your favorite color?" "I like turquoise.." "oh my favorite color is red and velvet! What about favorite food?" "Umm any kind of food.." "got any friends?" Squidward froze while he sat next to him.

Squidward clinched his tentacles on the bed sheets. "No..i dont.." bernard felt bad at squidward and patted his back "there there.. its okay tentacles im already your friend! Lets move to another question." Squidward nodded and was prepared for another question. "Are you getting married to a princess?"

"Yes.." he said looking down bernard was shoked he was going to marry a princess "wh-what's her name?! Do you like her?" Squidward was shoked when he heard about like her he responded quickly "no! First of all her name is mindy. And second of all.. I DONT LIKE HER!!" squidward said madly bernard questioned again "but.. if you're going to marry princess mindy then why didn't you tell your father not to?"

Squidward answered bernard "bernard.. its.. not that easy to talk to the ruler.. being a prince is hard.. you have to achive everything but they just force you. My father told me that i need to marry someone and make a new generation from them.. but i just don't want to marry mindy.. she's a good friend but no..i already like someone else.."
