Contagious

part seven

"Shit!" Daron yelled upon realizing what he had done.

Serj touched the scratches on his neck, stinging everything he'd touch them.

"Oh God..." daron looked at his hand and saw serj's blood on his fingernails.

"Its fine... I shouldn't have grabbed you like that." Serj apologized.

"No... you don't understand what I just did..."

"I grabbed you and you slapped me in response?"

"No... ugh, look. The white hair, dark circles... they're not a fashion choice. Its a disease." Daron began to explain.

"You know the rumors going around, about a zombie disease floating around?"

"They're just dumb rumors. There's no way that's true." Serj dismissed what Daron was saying.

"I'm a zombie Serj, the rumors are true." Daron admitted.

"You must think I'm crazy, what kind of drugs are you on?" He questioned.

"I have to eat human flesh to survive serj, nothing can kill me. I eat human organs to stay functional."

Serj just looked in disbelief.

"I'll prove it to you. Stay here." Daron walked back into the RV and came back with a long kitchen knife.

"What are you doing?" Serj tried to stop him.

Daron angled the knife right at his stomach. He braced himself for a few seconds before he stabbed the knife straight through himself. He felt the knife come out of his back. darons eyes began to glow from the intense pressure in his abdomen.

Daron gasped for air, there was almost no blood despite his reaction.

"DARON WHAT THE FUCK?!" serj screamed.

The others came rushing out to see what was happening and saw daron's glowing red eyes; along with the gruesome scene.

Daron pulled the knife out and held it in his hand. Serj watched in terror but also fascination as the wound began to close. his eyes returned to their original state.

"Do you belive me now?" Daron dropped the knife onto the concrete. They were all completely stunned.

"This is what I am. And it's what you're gonna be." Daron put his hands out to show the rapidly healing wound.

"D-didnt that hurt???" Shavo asked upon seeing daron's quick recovery.

"I can't feel pain."

"Thats like something out of a comic book!" John shouted. Him and shavo were fascinated with daron's abilities.

Daron chuckled. "Watch this..." daron spread his fingers onto a table, he took a knife and started to stab in between his fingers. He eventually stopped and stabbed the knife through the back of his hand; making the others cringe. Daron pulled the knife back out and the hole closed up. No blood dripped out.

John and shavo were facinated. Serj however, was horrified. He had to face the reality that he'd have to eat human organs. He would be able to survive bullets with no problem. It scared him, but he knew that he wasn't the only one.

Daron noticed his reaction. "What? Are you squeamish?" He teased.

"Of fucking course I am!" He snapped.
