Did you know that Nightwish were supposed to be just an acoustic project at first? They didn't even chose a soprano as their vocalist on purpose 😂 Tarja had been studying classical singing when she was called to participate in Tuomas' project and thus her voice had changed a lot. The rest of the band (Tuomas, Emppu, Jukka -they didn't have a bassist yet) expected to hear a simple girly voice and were absolutely shocked when they heard her singing.
