Yuna's P.O.V

"A DMMO-RPG where strength is not everything."

YGGDRASIL is a fictional online game that I had been hooked for a very long time. It was a DMMO-RPG (Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) that was developed and popularized in Japan due to its unique features that attracted many players around the country in its time.

It was around 2 months of its introduction to the public when I finally learned of its existence and bought my own. It had became my own stress reliever as stress keeps on building up with the projects that our company had been undergoing.

I am one of the company secretaries that handles all the paperworks of the CEO. As we were so understaffed at that time, I had to work to 3 people like the other 3 secretary like me, in order to do our own works. Our company is not that large but it the projects keeps on coming like a flood that we don't even have space to breathe.

One night as I was walking back from the company, I was walking like a zombie in the midst of the crowd that I just bumbed into a lamp post making me look up both frrling tired and confused. I can still vividly remember the beautiful woman that is being shown on the building screen that made me dazed for a few minutes. I was very amazed of its graphics and the fashion of the woman that I immediately looked at what I was looking on. The title Yggdrasil, was eye-catching and the next day, I bought my own.

The company hired 4 more secretaries after 2 weeks and I was so glad that our work load was lessened. I was able to finish my works early and went home early in order to play the game that I so desire.

Though many of my colleagues are very curious that I always return home early, (to the point that there was a rumor that I am about to be married) I just laughed and merely dismissed the topic that further fanned the flames.

Not that I cared much, as my attention  only revolves on the character that I created.

12 hours before the server shut down....

It is a very sad time as I keep looking at the place where we had both good and bad memories. The guild had somehow became part of my daily life as I would never forgot to logged in everyday no matter how busy I am.

Originally, we had 41 members but somehow as time passed by, 37 of us quit for good. It's not like I could blame them since they have all decided to focus on reality rather than a life in a game with no certainty.

I decided to pass through the first floors first, which was very busy back then with countless of players trying their luck to entering the tomb. When there were many players that were still playing in the game, there are quite a few that teamed up just to conquer the tomb. Though some are very unsuccessful not being able to pass through shalltear's domain levels, it was still fun to watch them struggle like little ants.

It's funny cause I remembered the same look of the company's rivals that tried to reason with me when there company's stopped earning and is on the verge of bankruptcy. It's not like it was I who chose them to be on that path, it's theirs.

Oh well back to the topic at hand, I slowly stepped from level to level as I tried to take in all the sights that I could see. I know that I would deeply regret it if I don't do this sooner.

Also, I know that Momonga will be here later as he is also one of the only members left that truly treasured the guild. I knew that it must've beeb hard on him as out of the 41 members, in the end, only 4 are left.

"This should be the 2nd Level." I gazed afar to the direction where the residence of Shalltear Bloodfallen is.

I used to be very close to Peroroncino like all the other members but grew strained when he, like the others also decided to quit. Since I was busy in real life with my job, I didn't have the time and the leisure to check up with one of them in the real life. The only leisure I have is chilling in the Nazarick's parlor and the bath house with nothing else to do. I let Momonga handle all the paperworks though he comes to me for advice whenever he needs it.

I slowly moved up to the next levels as I could slowly feel my eyes teared up with the explosive of emotions that I is building ul in my chest as I passed one level to another. No guardian passed me as they were busy suveying on their designated areas at the time.

"Why do good things always comes to an end?" I sighed as I now found myself in front of my room on the nineth floor.

"This has been my room for a long time in Nazerick..." i mumbled az I slowly stepped inside the room.

Light blinded my eyes making me cover my eyes before looking again. A huge bed with light peach colored sheets attracted my eyes as soon as I entered. There were 2 pathways of water on both sides of the room that contains running water that came from the lion mouth on the wall. Plants grew wildly on the walls of the room as butterflies seemed to be enjoying their time before the server shut down.

"Ugh...I'm tired. It's been a long time since I walked that far." I groaned as I could feel the pain on the heels of my feet. I immediately headed over to the bed, (not forgetting to jump) before looking for a comfortable place in the bed to sleep.

It's true that I have poured time, effort and money in the game.....but let's be honest, I only provided things that are convinient for me or materials that I already have. As for money, I do not lack that as I have a stable source of income.

For the effort, well~......

Does helping them for a short amount of time count?...ugh...who cares? I just want to sleep.....Good night.

Third's P.O.V

Yuna unknowingly slept peacefully in her bed while waiting for the server shut down. On her side, a clear window suddenly appeared as a message has been sent from one of her friends.

-Message Recieved-

Momonga: Yuna, do you have time to talk?

The message though, remained unseen, as Yuna had found herself falling deeper and deeper into the world of dreams.
