"If I loved you less,
I might be able to talk about it more."- Jane Austen
Shakespeare's "Eternity was in our lips and eyes,
Bliss in our brows bent. "
Yes. That's it.
How perfectly she could relate to each and every word of those two, apparently simple lines. Every time...for an eternity. And, if there's another cosmos beyond eternity, yes-then too.
As the first rays of warm, dignified sunshine tumbled all over her heart shaped visage, she pressed her eyes shut tighter still...her perfectly shaped brows framing a small 'v' in between as she slowly proceeded to stretch her limbs within the cosy composure of her bed . Turning round on the other side of her naked body, she was all prepared to snuggle against her very own haven of warmth and passion. The iron strong yet passionate embrace of his...
Wait.
Her eyes fluttered open as she felt the emptiness beside her.
It has been 4 months since the day that marked their unique wedding hosted at SIAC . Well....the official wedding, that is. For she was used to being addressed as "Mrs Shaurya Sabherwal" for quite sometime by then;---those smirking lips and husky, grave voice whispering the same right against her ear while she invested every bit of her restrain in trying to hold onto her anger.
The need of rising up to him, every dawn-is not only her kinky curriculum but also, it's her very own customised style of starting her day. Unique huh? That doesn't surprise her, for the idiom "unique" had been intertwined with her life, probably since the day she was born or maybe the day, she was bestowed with the name that meant "Unique".
Anokhi. That, she was. Undoubtedly & unabashedly. No one's to possess until she wishes to-yet no one's to ignore, irrespective of the prevailing conditions.
The emptiness beside her, was quick to break her reverie. Her clamshell shutters fluttered open in a trice as the obvious question of "Where is He?" darted into her mind. While attempting to sit up, she could very well feel the morning apathy that was weaving deep within her veins-making her mentally curse her man. After all, it's because of him that her nights are sleep-bereft and her mornings are inertia loaded!! She could feel the blush creeping into her cheeks, by the mere reminisce of her daily routine for the past four months.
"Tujhe uspe naraz hona tha Nikki! Aur tu hain ki yaha, bewakoof o ki tarah smile kar rahi hain?! Ha yeh alag baat hain, the fact that you would rather be a persistent class topper than staying... forget about staying, making a mere attempt at being angry with Shaurya Sabherwal....." while giving herself the silent pep talk, she made a move to remove the blanket that covered her dainty yet sturdy frame. Stepping down from the bed, she quickly picked up the white shirt from the floor, that was abandoned heartlessly by her apathetic fingers last night. Of course. The "sherni" in her refuses to accept even a svelte of fabric to act as an obstacle between her lips and his skin.
"...well, he is worse...",she thought, a subtle smirk forming at the corner of her lips while she slowly, took a note of the pity condition that her laced, 'tussore' saree & her bootless bodice was in , scattered on the floor.
Facing the mirror, she gracefully pulled the shirt over. Though hefty on her petite frame, his clothing seemed to embrace her build as intently as a second skin. The material covered her bare torso and toppled down till a few inches above her knees. She impatiently worked with the buttons, eventually realising that the first few of which are absent, or rather , torn off from the side-brim in a moment of sheer ardence. "Oh no..." This time, she couldn't help but direct the curse towards herself! Pulling her long, pitch-black satiny mane on one side with a huff... she started towards one of those two places she knew of in the whole, wide, world.. that he can possibly opt to be at, at an hour as such, instead of being with her in bed.
