Niccolo || AOT

Most of these are now just going to be short things I'll write for my bestie. Either way, I hope you all enjoy them :)

"Alright open wide," a sweet taste of cream filled your mouth causing it to water profusely. You open your eyes wide looking at the man in front of you.

The taste was sweet but bitter, it had all the right tastes and texture in it that it made your toes curl in delight. You quickly swiped the spoon out of his hand and begun to dig into the yoghurt more, almost scoffing the lot immediately.

"Hey! Slow down, you'll give yourself stomach ache," Niccolo gave you a stern look before letting you finish the yogurt, "Try this afterwards, it will leave a better aftertaste in your mouth." He passes you a couple of chocolate pieces and gives you a small nod telling you to take them. You wasted no time in grabbing them and letting the warmth of the chocolate fill your stomach, it was your comfort food after all.

After wiping your mouth rapidly with the towel closest to you, Niccolo goes behind you and gets something from a cupboard. A few seconds afterwards, a small plate is placed in front of you and he walks back in your view, "This is something I've been trying to get right for awhile now..." he scratches his neck with a slight blush on his cheeks, "I wanted to put together something that was a combination of you but as food."

You look down at your plate with full curiosity, it was a wrap but the way Niccolo had done it, the insides were a complete mystery to you. You picked up the wrap, it was surprisingly light and this made you eye him with full interest, "What's inside it?"

Once again his cheeks have a prominent red blush painted all over them as he fiddled with his shirt edges, "It took awhile of messing around with food combinations but... I finally made the choice of doing a handful of shredded red cabbage with salt that I had added a squeeze of lemon juice into. I then left it for around ten minutes or so to wilt before I prepared the wraps. On the wrap I put two tea spoons of hummus with the cabbage on top, grated carrot, a few slices of a red and yellow pepper with a handful of baby spinach to finish. All of that combined, I realised it tastes just how I imagined it would when I imagined cooking for you."

You hadn't realised but the wrap was now back on the plate as you stared at him with your face aflame. He had put so much thought into making a meal after you and for you. He looked so passionate when he was describing what he had included, he always was about his food but you had never seen him look so sweet and flustered over it.

His eyes flickered back to you as he noticed your stare on him, "Why...Why are you looking at me like that!?"

Just as he's about to start making a fuss about it, you abruptly stand up and dash out the room remembering something you were supposed to give him leaving standing him confused.

Once you get the present, you walk carefully back into the room with it, put it on the table next to your wrap and smile at him. "Before I eat your wrap which I think looks lovely and sounds SO yummy by the way, I have been practicing the cherry pie recipe you had taught me because I wanted to do something for you! But I also wanted to see if you thought it was any good?" You confess as you mess with your hands nervously looking up at him.

You were unsure of what his reaction would be, but you wasn't expecting him to be blushing this heavily. From the tips of his ears right down to his neck was bright red which he quickly tried to hide away by turning around to get a knife for the pie.

He stood facing the wall for a few seconds before turning around with a blissful smile, "I'm sure it's going to taste amazing."
