(Authors Note: Before we get started, I would like to apologize for the length of this. It's meant to be a One-Shot so it's all in one piece but damn.... it's really long compared to typical chapters I post. RIP mobile readers.... again, I'm really sorry!!!)

(Authors Note... Again: I also wrote this way back before I even knew other people wrote fanfictions about this show and this was actually created one night while watching season 1. Therefore, I've spelled everything wrong. I didn't want to fix the mistakes though because I found them cute I think they show how far I've come as a fanfiction author. Ok I'm done now.)

Marinette rolled over. It was a restless night. She was surprised to see Chat in bed next to her. She had forgotten that he had stayed the night again. He was normally gone by the time she woke up, being a hero and stuff. Marinette never really had the chance before to look at him when he was sleeping so she found herself studying everything about him.

The way his cat ears burrowed into the pillow, the way his mouth hung open a little, the way his eyebrows were furrowed as if he were having a bad dream, and most noticeably how all his muscles were tensed.

Marinette couldn't help but giggle. Poor Kitty was probably having a nightmare. Marinette wrapped her arms around Chat and could feel his muscles start to relax.

"Marinette," Chat whispered.

"I'm here Kitty," she answered. Marinette looked over his shoulder to her clock. It was close to 7... 7! She was gonna be late to school! Marinette shook Chat awake. Her parents were gonna come up to her room any moment to check on her and she didn't know what she would say to them about a teenage superhero boy sleeping in her bed.

Chat jumped awake, his tail tensing. "I'm up!"

Marinette pushed Chat out of bed. "I'm gonna be late to school, you've gotta leave before my parents come to check on me!"

Chat didn't get out the window quick enough before the latch to her room opened up. Marinette held her breath thinking it was her dad just for it to be Alya and... Nino?

"Marinette, you better not have any boys in here!" she yelled.

"Huh?" Marinette never thought that Alya would say that to her. Ever. She wasn't one to pick up guys.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about missy! Where is he?" Alya started looking around the room looking for someone. She got dangerously close to finding Chat who had dove behind the couch to hide.

"What is this about?" Marinette asked.

"I found Adrien's journal lying open in the hallway yesterday. The page it was open to said that he spent the night here almost every night." Nino said. He gave Marinette a journal. She opened it up to the marked page and read it.

"I've spent almost every night this week at Marinette's place. I'm glad that she lets me come over at night because it's hard living at home. I just need a place to feel loved sometimes, I guess. It's too bad that we have to keep it secret though. I would love to openly date her instead of just sleep with her at night. But I'm afraid that she won't like me anymore if she knew who was behind the mask. Maybe Plagg was right for once. I will never have a real chance with Marinette and I'm just hoping too hard to admit it. All well. Chat's gotta run."

Marinette laughed. "This sounds more like Chat to me,"

"Chat Noir?" Nino asked.

Marinette chuckled. "Oh come on, 'Chat's gotta run' 'behind the mask', Chat Noir definitely wrote this. Are you sure this is Adrian's book?"

Alya flipped to the first page. "Property of Adrian Agreste" was written inside the cover.

Marinette didn't know how to process this. She glanced over to the couch but Chat was already gone. He must have snuck out the window while they were talking.
