~Maggie's pov~
"So doc, can I play?" I ask playfully holding up my crutches.
He just chuckled "no not yet Maggie." I shot a smile
"When can I go home? I hate hospitals."
"Well you have a concussion it's not too major but you CANNOT play softball, use electronics, for two weeks, as for your ankle that should heal in a week or so, your ribs can take about 6 weeks unfortunately so you can't play in the tournament. But you can leave today if you like." My smile faded quickly, I started to tear up.
"Fuck" I mumbled under my breath.
"So sorry Maggie, your team says you're very good." That made me let out a small smile.
Zach walked in wearing a Titans shirt and some clothes for me sitting on the wheelchair he was pushing, it made me laugh. "hey babe" he smiled as I took the clothes. "Here let me help you" he closed the door and took off my hospital gown, he slipped on my sports bra and a shirt, it hurt to move my body but I tried not to let him notice. finally I winced.
"I'm sorry baby but we have to put your clothes on." I nodded. He helped me slip on fresh underwear and softball shorts. He slipped on some flip flops. Then I remembered I was in Canada. "Why am I wearing summer clothes?"
"Because it's a warm day 45 degrees"
I scoffed
"That is not warm! I'm from California that's so cold!"
"I have a blanket in my car" he said laughing. He put me in the wheel chair and after the process of checking me out of the hospital we were outside the sun hit my skin and I loved it. He gently put me in his car.

~Graser's pov~
"Why are we wearing softball Merch?" She asked
"Because we're going to watch the game."
"Zach please I don't want to go it will make me even more upset!" She said whining like a baby.
"The girls need you there, they are so upset at what happened to you, you should see their faces, they feel so guilty, if you don't go they'll lose" hopefully that will convince her to go.
"Ugh fine, for you."
"Aaaannd the girls" I finished for her. She nodded.
We got to the field I handed her her crutches and got the chairs and blanket from the trunk. I helped her carry her purse. we sat down and the girls were praying for Maggie when they finished they looked up and saw us.
"MAAAGGSSSS!!!!" Their smiles were brighter than ever. and so was hers. The tournament had a double elimination rule so if they lost they still had a chance to go on. Julie was at third base in replacement of Maggs, Julie was so distracted by Maggie yelling from the stands, she didn't catch the foul ball. "PUT ME IN COACH" she yelled picking up her crutches and go over there, the stands were laughing at all of her jokes. She was the life of the party everywhere she went.

~going home from the game~

"Maggie, can I ask you something?"
"Sure Hun, what's up?"
"Do you ever get mad?"
She sighed "yea, all the time."
"Really? You always seem so happy."
"I try my best not to show my anger because I'm scared I'll end up like my dad." Her dad?
"What do you mean?"
There was a moment of silence.

~Maggie's pov~
Don't cry Maggs you are stronger than this
"My dad wasn't the nicest person... he's a monster, 6"6, dirty blonde hair, Russian blood. he was abusive." I started to cry. Then continued "he's scary Zach, my whole life, I promised I wouldn't be the parent he was, my therapist said to be nice and control my anger, but I do get angry its in my blood." I found myself sobbing.
"My dad was a child molester. I have night mares about him. I'm scared Zach." I buried my face into my hands.
"Shhhh it's ok Maggs, I'm here for you sweetheart ok? I love you and I will never hurt you." He kissed me gently wiping away my tears.
"Thank you." I was breathing heavily. Holding my ribs.
"Are you okay?" No not at all I just got hit by a car yesterday, but I played it off. "Yes"
We got to his house and he carried me inside and into his room. He laid me on his bed. "You can stay with me till you are better ok? I'll take care of you." He ran down stairs and got a glass of water he handed me the water and my pain killers. He turned on his Mac and I slowly fell asleep to the sound of his voice.
