Readers POV
I was running in the woods. I didnt exactly know or understand why, I dont even remember when I started running but I must be running for a reason. I started losing momentum, my energy draining by the second and before I knew it, my legs had given out, And I was falling, both falling physically, and falling asleep.
When I woke up I saw a boy with.. WHISKER MARKS!? "Uh Miss are you okay?" Miss? I looked side to side to see who he had been talking to but no one was there. Wait, HE'S TALKING TO ME!? "Um I'm not a miss I'm a mister.." I informed. His face went from concern to shock. "REALLY!? IM SORRY I SHOULDN'T HAVE ASSUMED!" The blonde boy yelled looking ashamed. "It's okay.. Where am I?" I asked. "Where are you? Are you not from here?" He asked. "Uh no I dont really remember where I'm from I dont even remember how I got here.." I informed getting a headache trying to remember. "OH OKAY! WELL UH THIS IS THE HIDDEN LEAF VILLAGE! AMD IM GONNA BE ITS HOKAGE SOME DAY!" The boy said proudly. "Really?" "MHM YES! I'LL BE THE BEST HOKAGE EVER! ME! NARUTO UZUMAKI!" Naruto said proudly with a huge grin.
"WOW! That's really cool!" I said excitedly. The boy looked at me shocked. "Y-you believe me?" I nodded my head. "Of course I do, Why wouldn't I? You said you would so I have no reason not to believe you!" Naruto looked like he was about to cry but to spare him the embarrassment by acknowledging it I changed the subject. "I'm Y/n.. Y/n L/n I think."
"Well it's nice to meet you Y/n! Do you have anywhere to stay?" He asked me. "No I really cant remember if I do and until I do, I have no where to go." I said looking at the ground sadly. "Alright then you can stay with me!" "Huh?" I looked up at Naruto thinking I misheard. "You can stay with me! You don't have anywhere to go so you can stay with me! And we can also be friends!" He said laughing excitedly. "Friends.. I like the sound of that! Okay I'll stay with you!" I said grinning widely as he helped me up.
He first took me to his apartment?? Inside it was a big mess. "Naruto why is your house so messy?" I asked. "I can't clean everything up by myself it's way to hard so I just keep it this way.." "What about your parents?" I ask. "Don't have any." He answered sadly. "Oh.. Well then I'll help you!" I told him. "Really!?" He asked looking shocked. "Mhm now come on let's get started!" I said pulling him inside the house.
"Whew that took so loonnngggg." I complained throwing away the final peice of trash. "Yeah It was," Naruto laughed. "But at least it's done now!" I nodded my head putting down the broom and throwing away my cleaning gloves. "Naruto, why were you shocked when I believed you would become Hokage?" I asked sitting down at the table. "Oh well uh its because all the villagers treat me like I'm a nobody, like I'm a monster, no ones ever believed me when I said I'd become Hokage and earn their respect.." he finished off sadly. "Why would you want to earn the respect of those who treat you so badly?" I asked confused. "Well I want to prove them wrong! I want to prove I'm not a monster and that I'm going to become and amazing ninja!" I nodded somewhat understanding. "Well it's really late we should go to bed!" I nodded at his statement. "Where am I gonna sleep?" I asked. Naruto looked around realizing there wasnt anywhere for me to sleep. "Well I guess you can sleep with me.." He said blushing from embarrassment (Hes embarrassed that he didn't have a place for y/n to sleep.) I nodded and we both got into the bed. As we fell asleep I cuddled up to Naruto laying my head on his chest.
Naruto Blushed but quickly calmed himself down as they both fell asleep.
Well that was chapter 1! Keep in mind in this chapter both Naruto and the Reader are 10 at the moment!
