Chapter 7- Aftermath and planning

After texting with Yoongi I felt like a weight had lifted. I knew what I needed to do to get through this and be with my Soulmates. First I needed to tell my friends. This was going to be the hardest since they weren't expecting me to leave. Plus, they didn't know who my Soulmates were. How was I going to break it to them they were international superstars?

I called Erica and Sam and asked if they could come over, both said they would be over after work. Since I had some time to wait, I worked on getting my thoughts together on all the things I was going to need. Passport, telling work, calling the landlord etc. I waited to pack so they wouldn't start panicking immediately.

My apartment doorbell went off and I ran to see my two smiling friends. After deciding on pizza for dinner and the normal how's work chat. I took a deep breathe. "So, I have news for you both."

Both girls turned to me mid bite, curious but letting me continue. "This morning I video chatted with my Soulmates." Screams of joy erupted from the two. "OMG tell us everything, what are they like?" Sam screamed, "YES, YES please let us!" Erica echoed.

"Okay, Okay I'll spill, but first you need to keep this all between the three of us, ok?" I stressed. "Yes! Of course, we would!" both said.

"So, I have 7 soulmates, and they live in Korea.......and they just so happen to be famous." I say shyly. No looking up to see their faces.

The room is silent for a few seconds until Sam speaks up "Okay, Korea... so who are they? Anyone we would know?" I take a deep breathe. "Well have you heard of BTS?"

Erica Speaks up "Are you serious?! BTS like those Dynamite guys?"  "Yup, those are the ones." I state back to them, finally looking up to see surprised faces. "That's amazing Melody! So now that you all have seen each other what's going to happen next? I can imagine they are super busy and you're here in the states." Erica said.

"Well, that's my next news, they actually want me to move to Korea with them. I mean it makes sense to go but I am kind of nervous. Plus, you two are basically my family. Do you hate me for wanting to go?"

Both girls jump up and hug you. "Of course, we will miss you, but this gives us a chance to travel to you! You need to be with them obviously!" Sam says squeezing you tighter. "Also, maybe when we visit, we will find our Soulmates!" Erica squeals. We finish our pizza and formulate a plan to pack me up. I did only have a week to wrap my life up before moving.

*Time jump*- a week later

After a whirlwind of a week of packing and getting everything together. I was in the car with Sam and Erica driving to the airport. Hybe had contacted me to get all the details of my things to get shipped and they would arrive a few days after me to the dorm. I only had the essentials with me to last the week.

Outside the airport, Sam and Erica gave me so many hugs, all of us crying. "I'm going to miss you both so much. I promise I will video call you and text all the time!!" I sob. "You better or else I'm coming out there to beat you up." Sam says. "I agree and if they don't take care of you let us know." Erica says slamming her fist into her hand. "Okay, I get it! I will not leave out any details I promise." Hugging them one last time before leaving and walking into the airport.

Walking to security, I kept thinking this is nuts. I am going to Korea to my Soulmates! I grabbed my phone out of the tub at security and texted the guys.

*Hey guys! I am just past security about to wait for the flight.

I'm excited to be there with you all.

Kookie- YAY! <B

  Yoongi- make sure to sleep during the flight or else your jet lag will be the worst

Joon- Have a safe flight! We won't be there at the airport, but someone will be there with a card with your        name on it to pick you up. We will see you at the dorm. 😊

I locked my phone after getting settled in my seat. The guys told me all about the flights to Korea so I made sure to bring everything I could need to keep me occupied on the flight. About an hour after the flight took off I drifted off to sleep.
