Chapter 1

(Y/n) awoke to the sound of her phone's alarm, annoyed (y/n) hit snooze before remembering it's her first day of school and she quickly turns of her alarm gets out of bed, takes a shower, brushes her teeth, does her make-up and gets dressed admiring her figure in the red uniform "wow it's not as bad as I through it would be guess I got lucky!" She giggle to herself "although the skirt is slightly shorter than I would have liked it'll be fine."

(Y/n) quickly makes breakfast then rushes to school it's only a half an hour walk away because she brought an apartment nearby and was currently living there. It wasn't anything fancy but it wasn't a bad place either.

(Y/n) P.O.V

'I had make it just on time by the looks of it' (y/n) thinks looking around at all the other students walking into the school.

"Hey is she new" you hear someo guy whisper "who? Oh! Her? Wow she's pretty. Yeah I think she's new" I hear a guy say. I look around and see quite a few people staring at me and smile shyly "how long until she becomes a housepet?" The first guy asks "oh the things I want to do to he- ouch! Hey!" He says getting cut off by a elbow to the ribs from his friend

I look at the map I had printed off yesterday and slowly made my way to my classroom carefully not to get lost. When I finally made it to my classroom I was slightly late but I'm sure my teacher will understand.

I open the door and walk inside "oh you must be the new student right?" The teacher asks to which I give a swift nod "would you please stand at the front and introduce yourself" she asks me. I stand at the front of the classroom feeling slightly intimidated by everyone looking at me but I just gave a confident smile "hello everyone I'm (Y/n) (L/n) I hope we can get along and become friends"

"I want to gamble her" yumeko whispers to ryota who gives a nervous chuckle "m-maybe you should give her a day to settle down into the school because you gamble her?" Ryota whispers back but yumeko is already too far gone to try and stop 'we just got a new student and they're going to end up a house pet on their first day' he thinks to himself

"Sit next to Mary please" the teacher says "Mary please raise your hand" when Mary raises her hand you go and sit next to her "hello it's nice to meet you" I give Mary a closed eye smile "yeah whatever I guess it's nice to meet you too or whatever"

-time skip to lunch-

3rd person P.O.V

Yumeko walks up to (Y/n) and smiles brightly "hello! I'm Yumeko jabami, would you like to gamble?" She asks excitedly. Ryota stands behind her and shakes his 'no' at (Y/n), who rubs the back of her neck nervously "oh I don't know how to gamble" she says slightly embarrassed "don't worry I'll explain" yumeko says with a smile "ok then but don't expect much" (Y/n) says 'oh no (y/n) is going to become a housepet' ryota thinks to himself

-time skip to after yumeko explains the rules to you which you still didn't completely understand-

"O-ok I think I'm ready?" (Y/n) says still unsure and it was easy to tell she was unsure "excellent!" Yumeko says as both girls sit at the table that the desks in the classroom had been pushed together to create. The whole class was gathered around you two ready to watch what they believed would be a one sided slaughter where the new girl become another one of yumekos countless victims, oh how wrong they were.

Luckily for (Y/n) yumeko picked a game that was almost entirely based on luck 'I may be unsure of what I'm doing but I trust in my luck to carry me through this'

"So how much do you want to bet?" Yumeko asks already getting excited "oh? Urm, does 50,000 yen sound good?" (Y/n) asks not entirely sure if that's a lot of money or a small amount for a gamble in this school "that sounds amazing" yumeko says betting the same amount

First round in and (Y/n) wins, to the suprise of the crowd and much to the annoyance of Mary who could clearly see you had no real idea of what you were doing, so to her it seem like yumeko is letting (Y/n) win.

"Yay! I win" (y/n) says happily giving yumeko a bright smile which made her blush even more than she already was from the gamble "I'm feeling more confident now so how about 1 million yen?" "WHAT! Are you crazy!" Mary yells "you win one game by pure luck and you think it's a good idea to bet that much money what are you stupid?" (Y/n) gives Mary a calming smile which seems to make her more mad "oh?" (Y/n) asks slightly confused "well you said it yourself Mary I just got lucky so I should use my beginners luck while I can no?" (Y/n) says knowing full well that beginners luck wouldn't have changed the outcome of the match like Mary she said just got lucky which is what (Y/n) does best after all

You win the second round again much to the confusion of everyone around you 'yumeko must be letting them win there's no way someone this terrible could have won two times in a row again her if she was actually trying' the crowd including Mary and ryota thought but in truth yumeko was trying her best to win and yet she still got unlucky both times. "This has been really fun yumeko" (Y/n) says "but I've still got to eat lunch and explore the school, ah! Maybe we could have lunch together if you want to have lunch with me that is?" Yumeko smiles and nods quickly paying what she's owes before dragging (Y/n) out to the canteen followed by ryota and mary when everyone got sat down they were joined by itsuki. She and ryota introduced themselves halfway through eating (y/n) went to the bathroom "yumeko you let (Y/n) win right?" Ryota asks yumeko, who only shakes her head "no I was was trying my hardest" she causally replies to the shock of everyone at the table
