"Lady and Gent, the main even has arrived!" Whitney chuckles as she hold out the dress (covered by a trash bag so Christian can't see it) to me. God, I can't wait to put it on; it makes me feel so magical.

"So if I take just a little peek—"

"Christian!" I say as I slap his arm. "No way!"

"Find, fine. You two can go do whatever it is girls do before a wedding. Lucky and I will be watching Netflix in the bedroom."

"I can't believe my baby's getting married!" Whitney squeals. "I am so excited for you two."

"Sometimes I think that we're too young," I admit. "I'm only 20; Christian's 21."

"So you're saying you don't want to get married?"

"No! No. Of course I want to get married. I love Christian so much. I just haven't been feeling well lately, and I wonder if I'm getting in my head."

"You should go lay down, honey. You look a little green."

"I-I'm fine," I tell her as I feel myself wobble and fall into Whitney's arms.

"Christian! Christian!" she calls as I hear him come into the room and immediately grab onto my waist, holding me up. He carries me bridal style into our room and flops me onto the bed as I hear Whitney slip out the door.

"Hey, hey, hey, you alright?" he whispers against my neck as he placed his hand against my cheek.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't know what happened; maybe I just need some water." He immediately climbs out of bed and grabs a glass of water before holding it to my lips.

"You good?"

"I'm great," I giggle. "Never better."

"You've never fainted before, Lonnie."

"I know, I don't know how it happened. But I'm better now."

"Good," he whispers before he gives me a long, lingering kiss making my entire body tingle. As soon as he pulls away I close the gap again and he molds his body to mine. "I really, really love you, Lonnie, and I can't wait to get married."

"I can't wait either," I whisper before my stomach churns.

That night I cant stop puking in the toilet. Christian holds back my hair every single time, and Lucky just sits next to me on the bathroom floor while I wait to puke again. God, food poisoning is not fun.

...

Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god.

Oh.

My.

God.

"Christian?" I call from the bathroom the next morning. I hear him stir but not get up so I go to greet him. "Christian!" I whisper-shut at him as I fluff his hair to wake him up.

"What?" he groans.

"Wake up! Its important!"

He gets up and stretches his arms out as I sit on his lap. "Look," I whisper, looking down at my hands.

His eyes follow mine as I see his mouth drop. "No freaking way."

"Way."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm positive."

"You're pregnant?" he chuckles.

"Yeah, I am."

He doesn't look disappointed, just shocked. I mean, that's fair. I too am so out of sorts.

"But-but how did this happen?"

"Well, when two people really love each other—" I start, and he laughs.

"No, I mean I just don't understand. You're on birth control and we use protection and—"

"Which is 99% effective."

"That's basically 100%."

"Have you never seen Friends?"

"You made me watch it a few months ago, of course I've seen Friends."

"I can't believe it."

"You're pregnant. Dear god you're pregnant!" he gasps as he hugs me tightly. "Oh, sorry baby. I didn't mean to squeeze that hard," he says as he rubs his thumb across my belly.

"Are you excited?" I whisper to him as he cuddles with me on the bed. We're silent for a few minutes as he plays with my hair before I hear him start humming a song. Our song.

Cause I'm in a field of dandelions,

Wishing on everyone that you'll be mine, mine.

"You're mine," I whisper into his ear before he kisses me.

"I'm yours."
