Jen led me up the stairs to a dressing room. There was another person ahead in it and I wondered who she was. "I'm Maddie," She introduced as if reading my mind. "This is Savanna," Jen said for me. "I found her a few minutes ago with a group of kids chasing her." "Oh no! Are you alright?" Maddie asked. I nodded shyly. "I'll be right back," Jen said. "I noticed you were stumbling a bit back there. You should drink some water." I nodded in thanks and slowly sat down, putting my head in my hands.
I felt someone tap my shoulder and I flinched suddenly. Realizing it was just Jen, I calmed down and took the water bottle she held. I took a few small sips and immediately felt better. With the headache dying down, reality came back to me. I looked up in realization. "Wait, you guys are in Six The Musical, right?" "I take it you're a fan," Maddie laughed. "Yeah," I replied, slightly embarrassed. "It's fine," Maddie assured. "Do you need anything else?" "No, I'm fine. I should go. My friends are waiting for me," I lied. In reality, I didn't want to be a burden. "Thank you so much." "No problem!" Maddie replied. "Here's our phone numbers if you ever need us again." Jen said, taking Savanna's phone and adding her to a group chat with me and Maddie. "Have a good day!" Maddie shouted as she left. "Thanks, you too!" Savanna said and left the theatre.
Jen's POV
I turned to Maddie and said, "I feel like somethings off about her. She was really light when I picked her up and you could easily feel each individual bone. It just seems strange for a girl that young. I only wish we could help her."
"Yeah, she should be okay though. Anyways, you gave her our phone numbers so she'll be able to tell us if anything is wrong." Maddie reassured me.
I sighed. "I guess you're right. We should probably get some food before it's too late."
I sat down and ordered a sandwich from a nearby restaurant. I started to put my hair up space buns for Boleyn while waiting for my food.
During the next show, I tried not to think too much of the girl and instead follow Maddie's advice.
