Taken Away

Hi! So from here, its gonna get kinda sad and cruel for Eren. Just a warning. Hope you enjoy!

- In the morning, in Levi's room -

Levi's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and waited for them to adjust. My bed felt cold and emptier than it should have. I looked over to my side and notice that Eren isn't in bed, or even in the room. Then, as I start to sit up, the door of my room opens.

"Who the hell- oh, Eren. What the hell?! You scared me! I thought some perv was trying to sneak into my room or something." I noticed that he was holding two cups.

"Sorry. I didn't think you'd be awake yet, so I went and got some coffee for us." Eren sat down and handed Levi a cup.

"Thanks. How did you sleep?" He smiled happily at the mention of my question.

"I slept really well! I think its because I was with you!" His smile only grew while talking and made me think that the day might actually be a good one.

"Hn." I responded and started to get changed.

"I think I should ge getting ready, so I'll see you!" With that he exited my room, making the room feel empty.

- In the afternoon -

I was walking through the hallway, headed to Erwin's office. I wanted to ask him about the next excursion outside the walls. When I finally arrived at his door I knocked and went inside. Erwin was doing some paperwork.

"What is it Levi?" He said, not looking up from his papers.

"I would like to discuss-" I was quickly interupted when a soldier came bursting through the doors of Erwin's office.

"Excuse my interuption sir, but there are some military officers trying to take Jeager!" The soldier almost shouted.

"What!?! Take me to them!" Erwin stood up and started to follow the guy. I followed behind as well and started to worry about what they want with my Eren.

We arrived in the courtyard, to see Eren, Armin, Mikasa, and the rest of Eren's friends facing the military officers.

"Eren Jeager! Surrender yourself!" Said the military office that seemed to be in charge(we're gonna call him Karsten).

Mikasa, Armin and Eren's other friends stood by him in a defensive position, looking as though they were ready to beat the crap out of the military officers.

"What is the meaning of this!" Erwin stepped in before anything else could happen.

"Erwin danchou! We have been ordered to seize Eren Jeager!" Said Karsten while trying to look intimidating, although he failed miserably.

"Why didn't we receive a prior notice?" I said, glaring at the military officers.

"I do not know sir! We were only ordered to seize Eren Jeager, sir!" Karsten said while handing a letter to Errwin.

Erwin's furrowed his eyebrows as he opened the letter, only looking more frustrated as he continued to read.

"What does it say?" I was starting to worry about the contents of the letter"

"It says that the court has decided to use Eren for experimentations, and we have no say in the matter." Erwin said with an apologetic, frustrated and defeated look on his face.

"What!? What type of experiments?!" I said trying to remain as calm as possible, but in my mind I was having a meltdown. I didn't know what I'd to if they took Eren, the one person that kept me fighting, away.

"Wound inflictions. A chosen medical docter will infilct wounds on Eren and document the healing process. As well as test him mentally to see what could be a possible triger to the titan shifting." Erwin and I both knew that things like experimentation could mentally scar Eren, but what could we possibly do at this point?

"How long will the experimentation take?" I asked worriedly.

"10 days from today, if we give him over now." Erwin said, relaxing slightly at the fact that the experimentaions would not go on for to long.

"I'll do it now." Eren said stepping forward. What is that brat thinking!?

"WHAT!?!?" Everyone surrounding him stared at him like he was a madman.

"If I do it now I can get it done with, and it'll cause less trouble for heichou an danchou(Levi and Erwin), so why not." Eren began to turn around, to face us. Eren began to say his goodbyes, untill it was my turn. He looked at me and used his head to point toward the castle, meaning that he wanted to talk to me privately. We both walk over to the castle and turned the nearest corner so that no one could see us.

"Eren, what are you doing?!" I try to reason with him, but ending up sounding like pleading him.

"Its ok Levi, I promise. I will definetly come back to you. I love you and I'll be back soon" He leaned forward and kissed me on the lips. It was passionate and reassuring, as though through the kiss he had been trying to promise me.

Then we walked back to the military officers and Eren's friends. I stood next to Erwin and watched Eren walk towards the military officers. Karsten grabbed Eren's arms and put him into handcuffs. Why did they need handcuffs, Eren is going willingly?!? I felt my anger rise, but I couldn't do anything.

I stood there and watched as Eren was taken away.
