I smirked, "Oh come on.... it's just one bite, Caroline."

"You need to learn to control yourself. Your carefree attitude is going to end up getting you in trouble. Plus that girl looks like she's about dead too."

I shrugged, "Yeah whatever."

I looked the girl in the eyes, compelling her, "As soon as you walk outside of this house, you won't remember any of this. You went home and took a nap, losing track of time."

I bit my wrist, feeding the girl my blood to heal her. After that, she left Caroline's house.

"Look, you've been back for only 2 days and three people are dead because of you. Don't you think that's a little ridiculous? A little bit of an overkill?", Caroline scolded.

I rolled my eyes, "Relax. It's only three people. I mean what else is there to do? I'm hungry and honestly blood bags taste horrendous. Blood isn't meant to be cold, it's meant to be warm and from the vein."

She glared at me, "Are you forgetting??? The Original Family??"

"Ahhh, yes. The Mikaelsons, right? I'm not afraid of them. They're just stuck up vampires who think they own everybody because they're old. And plus Elena has investigating them under control."

She sat her glass down on the table, "Don't be stupid Aria. They're dangerous."

"Well I guess I'll just have to see how dangerous they truly are.", I said as I got up and tried to leave.

Caroline grabbed my wrist, stopping me, "your attitude is going to get you killed."

I stopped, looking at Caroline, seeing the genuine concern in her eyes. I smiled at her, "Care, I promise you I'm going to be okay."

She hesitated for a moment, then, against her better judgement I'm sure, she released my wrist.

I gave her a small nod before taking off.

Once I reached the Salvatore house door, it opened, revealing a tall dark-haired man with the brightest of blue eyes, it was quite scary on how blue they were.

"Hello, Damon."

He moved out of the way, a sign of telling me to come inside, "Aria."

I walked past him, "So where's the great evil that's living under...."

I stopped as soon as my eyes met the light blue ones from across the room.

I cleared my throat, shaking off the strange feeling of familiarity.

"Your Klaus' sister, I presume, yeah?"

She stared at me, shock seemed to flood her eyes.

She mumbled, "Hazel?"

I didn't quite catch what she said, "huh? Did you say something?"

She shook her head and scoffed, "and you are?"

Disregarding what had just happened, I smirked, "Your future wife, I hope. Kidding. Kidding. I'm kidding."

She rolled her eyes, not amused by my upfront flirtatiousness.

"Rebekah, meet Aria, the town flirt.", Damon said, gritting his teeth.

I winked, "that's me."

"What're you doing here, Aria?", Damon asked as he sat down on his red cushioned chair.

I looked at him, then back at Rebekah, "I came to see what all this fuss was about."

I took a step closer to her, "do I know you? I feel like I should know you."

She spat, "oh what? Is that another one of your bloody pickup lines?"

Her voice had a hint of a British accent, only being super prominent on certain words and sentences. It was soothing in a way.

"Oh, darling, I would never use such a generic pickup line on someone as beautiful as you."

Damon, now disgusted by my continuous flirting, spoke again, "I'm going to my room. You two have fun. And, Aria, try not to sound so desperate."

"Oh, bite me."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah.", Damon said, walking away.

I took a minute to admire her facial features and the way they complimented each other. Her ice blonde hair matching the pale complexion of her skin, which cause the freckles that are lightly dusted across her nose and cheeks to stick out. And her eyes, oh my god, her eyes. The coldest of blue, the prettiest. Her eyes hide a thousand stories, no doubt. All stories I want to reveal. All stories I wish she'd share with me. I can't help but be drawn to her, something about her just feels so familiar, I can't shake the feeling that I know her.

"Why're you still here?"

I shrugged, "you don't seem so scary, not like everyone has made you out to be."

She vamped to right in front of me, so fast it caused the fire to blow out, "you won't be saying that when I rip your bloody head off."

I took a step closer, "careful now, that sharp tongue of yours is going to get you cut."

She furrowed her brow, "are you threatening me?"

I sighed, taking a step back, "no, never. How could I threaten such a pretty face?"

All she did was roll her eyes at my failed attempts to woo her.

I shrugged, "well, I should be on my way. Do me a favor, though. When you see your brother, tell him there's a vampire that wants to meet him. See you around, gorgeous."

After I left, I decided to head to the Grill. When I walked inside, I saw Caroline so I went over and sat by her.

"So, Rebekah isn't all that bad. I don't understand why you guys are so scared."

Caroline glared at me, "you just haven't met the right Mikaelson yet."

I smirked, "I sure did meet the prettiest one though. I can definitely toy with her for a bit."

"Be careful, Aria. She's over a thousand years old. You could get yourself killed... and plus don't forget her brother is an immortal werewolf vampire hybrid, the strongest creature in existence. They can't even be killed. It can be extremely dangerous. You could get seriously hurt.", Caroline warned.

I laughed, "Oh, come on. What's the worse that could happen? They chose to settle down in MY town, MY home. They threatened MY friends, so I'm going to show them that it's not that easy. I'm not just going to let them terrorize this town. I understand they're old, but so am I. From what I've heard, Klaus acts on impulse, so you have to be smart and in control.  I'm not just going to give up and let them rule this town. If they want it, they're going to have to kill me, and trust me I won't make that easy for them."
