The Barren Lands and The Moniyan Empire have been rivals since the beginning of time itself.Everyone knew that they'd eventually go to war,but who would've known of the dire consequences of the two most powerful regions going to war against each other.
Arrows shot out from the Monastery of Light killing off orcs,who tore apart the forests surrounding the holy sanctuary.A single orc,named Balmond,who was currently under the protection of the Prince of the Abyss,sent in several blood demons and orcs with the single goal of taking over the monastery.
"Give it up!You won't ever get in!" A young blond haired man yelled,charging out of the protection of the walls,leading an counter against the orcs.A man dressed in black accompanied him,his eyes glowing red,he shot rounds of bullets at the blood demons,who were using magical attacks from behind the large army. "Hah!As if you can take on the might of the abyss!" The young Abyssal Prince charged into the crowds,catching the marksman off guard,his gun being knocked onto the floor.He reached for his gun,being attacked by both the Prince and flares of abyssal magic.A dark smoke appeared,a young red haired assassin pulled the dark clothed man out of reach.Turning on his heel quickly,the Prince dashed out towards the blond swordsman. "Argh!" He swung his sword attempting to get some distance from his attacker.Their fight went on,chaos erupting around them,corpses of both sides fell to the floor.The man felt blood dripping down from his shoulders onto the floor. "Hahaha~ Is this it?Your best defenders struggling against the Prince of the Abyss.How pathetic~" Standing in rage he man swung his sword at him again and again,a few cut parts of the Prince's discolored skin.He wore an amused smile before turning to Balmond and nodding,signalling for the next part of the plan,before any words could be exchanged,the sound of fast footsteps came from behind the injured defenders.
"Hahahah!Airdrop incoming!" An explosion went off in the crowds,but not one from the attackers.Rather from a young pink haired girl,who was supposedly dropping by for a visit.She took the submachine guns off her back and let loose several bullets forcing the abyssal forces to retreat back to the portal at The Azure Lake.The young girl turned to greet the protectors of the Moniyan empire. "Hey there,sorry we had to meet like this,name's Beatrix" The red-haired assassin handed a small package of bandages to the injured man. "I am Natalia.These two are my comrades in battle,Granger and Alucard,we all share the role of protecting the empire from the Abyss.I thank you for your assistance" Granger dragged Alucard off the floor and took a few steps towards the two. "That there was dangerous...the Abyss has been getting stronger by the day,and we keep losing major parts of our army because of it" Natalia nodded in agreement. "I assume you aren't only here to drop by and say 'hello'?" Beatrix laughed before signaling for them to follow her. "Come on,we'll need to see the commander for this"The three followed without a word.
Lumina City,the Moniyan Empire's capital.The four sat inside the imperial knights' office,waiting.After a few minutes of waiting,Tigreal came into the office,followed by his sister Fanny,Silvanna and Harith. "It appears that everyone is present" Tigreal nodded to Beatrix,and she stood holding a map of The Land Of Dawn.She laid it on the table and cleared her throat. "Alright,I'll get straight to business here.The Barren Lands and Moniyan Empire are at war" she said,as she shaded over the Empire in blue and Barren Lands in red. "The Barren Lands' Armies have been attacking The Azrya Woodlands in order to cut off supplies to the Empire" She continued to draw on the map. "The Moniyan Empire and the Azrya Woodlands have a sort of mutual agreement to help each other whenever it was needed,in the past against the Shadow Swamp as it was taken over by the Barren Lands.Therefore,the Moniyan Empire have to help protect the Woodlands.This means that the Empire's forces are focused towards the south.The Barren Lands have reached out to the Vonetis Islands asking for their support,with the threat of sending forces to takeover the land.Of course,they agree eventually,not wishing to sacrifice their land.Their technology in particular have been a great asset to the Abyss" She sighed,shading over the Vonetis Islands in red. "The Cadia Riverlands has declared themselves against the Vonetis Islands,as they've been posing a threat to them over seas,though they do not fully support the Moniyan Empire" She shaded the Cadia Riverlands in green. "As for Northen Vale,the magic academy are willing to lend a hand to the Moniyan Empire in battles" The she shaded over the magic academy in blue and the rest of Northern Vale in green. "And now we get to The Agelta Drylands" Alucard stared at the map,so far most of the lands were split between support of the Moniyan Empire and Barren Lands,which meant if the war went on a lot of the land could be destroyed.

"The Agelta Drylands brings an alliance proposal to the Moniyan Empire,some of our people are willing to come into the Empire to help fight against the Abyss.In exchange all we need is supplies to help our brave warriors and a place to stay in the Empire,temporarily of course" Beatrix finished speaking and waited for a response.Natalia was the first to speak. "This is certainly a good deal for us,though...our supply usage has already been quite high..." Fanny nodded in agreement,while Tigreal stared at the map,considering the offer.
