Moniyan-Chapter 2-Allies

Granger spoke up after a few seconds of silence.
"We'll most certainly need the men,we'll have to ration our food usage,of course we should be able to gather the rest of the Moniyan Empire to one area with the Agelta Drylands' warriors and,hopefully,we'll be able to take back the lands we've already lost" Tigreal stood and nodded.
"This Alliance supports both of our lands,we hope this Alliance will prove helpful to both of us"
Beatrix smiled and shook the Commander's hand.This marked the beginning of the Alliance between the Azrya Woodlands,Agelta Drylands and the Moniyan Empire.

A week later

The warriors from the Agelta Drylands met the Imperial Knights and the Protectors of the Azrya Woodlands.They were to fight together from that day forward.Beatrix as the representative of the Agelta Drylands,Alucard and Granger representing the Moniyan Empire and Miya representing the Azrya Woodlands on behalf of Estes.
"Alright everyone let's start,get to know one another first,find someone from another land and get to know them!"

Alucard approached a Marksman who was with a young girl,who wore tribal style clothing.
"Hey there,I'd like to get to know you two,I'm Alucard,a demon hunter from the Moniyan Empire"
The man smiled and introduced himself.
"Names Clint,this young lass here is Mathilda.Pleased to meet you,Alucard"
Mathilda looked up at the Demon Hunter standing before her and smiled.

Granger was approached by an angel-like girl who was accompanied by a nature guardian and a young man dressed in a scholarly manner.
"Hello,I hear you are a Demon Hunter,correct?"
Granger turned to see the the girl sat on the shoulder of the nature guardian.
"Yes,I am a Demon Hunter,my name is Granger.And you are?" She smiled and hopped off the shoulder of the guardian and introduced herself.
"My name is Lunox,this is my good friend Belerick and that is Natan" Natan looked the Demon Hunter in the eye and nodded.
"Your appearance certainly makes you look rather menacing,quite a resemblance to the very thing you hunt" Granger showed no reaction to the comment.
"Natan!Don't say that,I think he looks quite fitting for a Demon Hunter.Demons come out in the dark,blending into that environment makes you hard to target" Natan chuckled as Lunox smiled at Granger,who was blushing,under the mask,at the compliment.

Miya and Nana met with Harith and Fanny,who they both knew quite well.Nana and Harith in particular were very excited to see each other again.
"Miya!Hey there,I'm glad you could make it"
Fanny smiled greeting her old friend,Harith and Nana had both ran off to meet others,leaving Miya and Fanny to have their conversation in peace.

Out of nowhere,and fight broke out.Loud clashing of metal could be heard,the representatives of each area came running towards the noise.A tall man wearing a dark hood stood in between the two,a brown haired man who held two daggers in his hands and a blond man who held a long fencing sword.
"Both of you stop this instant!" The hooded man yelled unleashing hundreds of glowing blue shards at the two of them.The two jumped back in surprise.The shards scattered across the floor,after a few seconds the shards flew back to their owner.The brown haired man rolled his eyes and walked off towards the forest,while the blond haired man turned to talk to a young woman who'd seen the fight.The man who'd cut the fight short sighed and walked in the direction of the forest.Alucard and Granger nodded to one another and followed him.

"Gusion,quit hiding already" The hooded man wandered around the forest searching for Gusion.Alucard immediately recognised the name,he signalled for Granger to come towards him.
"That's Aamon Paxley,as in,The Duke!" Alucard sounded excited and Granger simply chuckled at his childishness.
"Hm...Who would've known?Under that hood he's nearly unrecognisable" Granger commented as they continued to follow him.Aamon stopped walking abruptly,it looked as if he was staring straight forward.Alucard stood up slightly from his hiding spot to get a better look at him.
"If you're here to assassinate me you are doing an awful job at concealing your movement" Aamon turned to see the blond's surprised expression.He walked towards the two,keeping a calm composure as Granger showed up behind Alucard.
"Though I do not think that is your motive,am I correct,dear representatives of the Moniyan Empire?" He said with a smile,stopping a few meters away from the two.Granger nodded as Alucard smiled awkwardly,chuckling a bit.Aamon looked forwards towards the faint rustling of leaves.

A dark spear flew out of the shadows,missing the Duke narrowly.A dark trail of smoke followed the spear.A dark figure appeared from the smoke his eyes glowing an ominous yellow color.
"Moskov of the Abyss...you've been trailing us for a while haven't you?" Aamon looked at the man,who'd given his soul to the Abyss,with a nonchalant smile.
"I was expecting a full assault,or were you lot beaten so badly that the Prince didn't want to show up this time?I vaguely remember the pet you lot had,ahaha..." Aamon's barely audible chuckle seemed to make the man of despair angrier.A burst of smoke blinded Granger and Alucard for mere seconds,but that was enough time for the Moskov to injure both of them with his spears.Alucard swung his sword blindly at the man of despair,as Granger swiftly drew his gun.
"Both of you,duck down!" Aamon called out amidst the chaos.The two obeyed without a second thought,and bright blue shards and purple daggers shot out of the smoke.Moskov grunted in pain,before charging backwards into the darkest parts of the forest.

The daggers flew back towards their owner,the man known as Gusion Paxley,Aamon's younger brother.
"I didn't need your damn shards in the way,I could've finished that demon off!" Gusion yelled at his brother,who simply shook his head with amusement.
"You wouldn't have,he'd have gotten away either way,besides it isn't out goal to kill them" He turned to Alucard and Granger had a few minor scars from the spears.Gusion looked at the two and waved,
"Name's Gusion Paxley,unlike the rest of my family I'm not much of a buzzkill" Alucard laughed and waved back,while Granger rolled his eyes.
"Come on,we'll return to the training area and get a healer to help you" Aamon turned back to the route they'd came from,as the other followed.
