A war of yet to come

Chapter 5~Flashes

Jay frowned, but grew more nervous as the boy's hood's ears started to glow, and he heard Lloyd whisper nearby, "...What the...'' And then... Then something... Something weird happened, and! Don't get me wrong, weird stuff happens all the time! But- this? This was really weird. All of a sudden, Yugo started to glow! Not like, 'Oh you're glowing' Glow, like, 'Oh! YOURE GLOWING!' Glow!

Yugo thought he lost consciousness! But, he didn't! He collapsed, the ringing in his ears becoming too unbearable and almost destroying Yugo's eardrums. He thought he was dead, as he watched some of his memories.

Yugo watched the other older kids train as he used a broom, his heart ached to train with them.

Then, another memory, It didn't seem like his, but it was him! The other Yugo smiled, walking with a beautiful, green haired, dark skinned woman, who was talking about some; "Avangeline." When all of a sudden, the older Yugo fell down one of the hills, as the woman gasped, putting her hands to the ground as vines sprung out, catching The other, and the memory ended with the two sharing a laugh.

It then flashed to when Jay, Lloyd, and Yugo were small, when Lloyd first joined, he was ten, Jay was fifteen, and Yugo was ten as well. Jay watched as Yugo held his hand out to Lloyd, "No matter what you did, I'm sure it wasn't that bad-" Yugo was cut off, "You don't know me You don't know anything about me!" Lloyd snapped, slapping Yugo's hand away, causing the boy to grunt in surprise, and Jay to take a defensive step forward. But Yugo put his hand out, "I- It's okay, I won't judge you for anything." Yugo promised, holding his hand out once more. As Lloyd took it, and Yugo pulled him into a hug, Jay nodded, "Hey! Don't forget me! We stick together! No matter what."

The flashes faded, leaving Yugo in a dark abyss.
