You are all stunned when Dakota explans his plan for the dungeon. Worry begins to consume you, not for yourself but for Tanner. He has had it the worst so far on this roadtrip and it kills you to see him struggling.

Of course you knew he could handle the fear but he is your boyfriend and you couldn't help being over protective of the man you had fallen for.

Unfortunately your fear comes true and Tanner is selected to be blindfolded and left in the dungeon for three hours.

You all lead him downstairs and get him settled in his chair. Its August and sweltering hot. You thought the dungeon would be cooler but somehow its even hotter.

Seeing him so helpless is too much for you to bare. You are flooded with emotions and impulse takes over. As the rest of the crew begins to leave you lean down and whisper in Tanner's ear I love you  before pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. You had never said that to eachother before.

Its hard to read his reaction as his eyes are covered. You think you see his lips turn up in a slight smile but he doesnt say anything. Feeling a little dejected, you quietly slip out of the room and follow the others upstairs.

You are with the rest of the crew exploring the cell house when you hear your walkie go off.

"Tanner for Y/N, are you there?"

You startle at the sudden noise but quickly regain composure. "I'm here, Tanner. Is everything okay?" You reply.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just wanted to tell you...I love you."

You freeze, unsure if you heard what you think you heard.

The walkie goes off again. "Y/N, please say something..."

"I love you too," a smile spreading across your face as you say the words, "See you in three hours."

"Can't wait," he replies with a chuckle.

You snap out of you reverie and notice everyone around you giggling.

"Its about time one of you said that!" Chelsea says with a laugh.
