It was 3 in the morning when I decided to get up and go for a walk with my dog Stella, she was sleeping the poor dog but I needed to walk and I don't go outside alone. We went outside and started walking after I made sure of closing the door.
I don't know what I'm gonna do when I start going to real college next week, my mom has talked me into starting to go instead of online classes like I wasn't doing that my whole life, but she was so upset that I would be missing the life best experience in college and those are her words, she met the love of her life in collage who is my dad and I think that's why she insisted for me not to miss it.
But I'm not very good with people, actually I am totally horrible with people but I agreed for my mom's sake and she and my dad were extremely happy with my little 'okay I'll try this year'. My parents has always cared about me and gave me their best their and my whole life and I am very grateful for them.
I am happy though that now I will be able to see my best friend more, Jack is our neighbor since we moved here around 15 years ago and he is my age. And I will be going to his college since I started last year but with online classes and it's the same college my parents went to and met and fell in love.
When I looked at the watch and my sleepy dog I noticed we've been walking for half an hour and I was going for 10 minutes but my thoughts kept me from noticing and we went back home with half a clear mind and went to sleep right away.
in the morning, my alarm woke me up at 5 as always to do my workout and I was done after an hour then I took a shower before making breakfast for me and my family. When I was done with the cooking I heard my mom coming out of her room towards the kitchen
"Good morning son" My mom said entering the kitchen with a sleepy smile before kissing my cheek.
"Good morning mother" I said placing her food in her plate and doing the same with mine
"I see you started without me" My father said sitting next to mom
"We didn't start yet dad, let's start now" I said not looking at them and started eating
"So Adam, do you need anything for school next week? you know I'll be more than happy to help" My dad said with clear excitement
"Me too Adam I would love to help with whatever you need" My mom said clapping silently
"I don't think I need anything for now" I said hoping this conversation is over
"But I'm sure you do, come on son let us help with anything" My dad said
"I don't want to move to campus" I said and saw their faces change and looked away instantly
"But baby that's the whole thing about collage campus is a huge part of the experience and you promised" My mom said with a sad voice
"Why Adam?" My dad asked
"I promised to try going to collage this year but not to campus, you can't say I promised to go to campus mom I didn't" I said looking at the ceiling and squeezing my thumb because apparently that's what I do when I get anxious or stressed
"That's okay Adam calm down and Emily we can discuss this later" My dad said with a nice smile and my mom didn't speak again
Later in the afternoon Jack came to my house for lunch and of course my parents involved him with my decision about not moving to campus and the three of them pushed it till I agreed to try campus one term.
