Ring. . . Ring. . . "FUCK how did I miss my alarm, mothers gonna kill me," as I rush down the small hallway to the bright pink bathroom. I had to hurry to get ready because in less than an hour I have to be on a train heading to Hogwarts, my mother never liked Dumbledore's teaching or rules she always talked poorly of the man but from what others say he's one the greatest wizards. But she had no choice cause no matter what I had to go and she knew it.
I slipped on my dirty old vans and opened the door to my house. A bright yellow taxi waiting for me at the bottom of the drive way, I walked quickly trying not to fall over all my luggage.
"Good morning Mrs," the old guy who reeked of cigarettes and beer said polity with a grin.
"Not to be rude but I am running late so if we can rush straight to the train station that would be great ," he gave a smile while shoving all my bags in the back. The ride was pretty quite, the radio played the morning news and he would look back once in awhile. I'm to busy being frustrated on how late I am to notice the nerves in my stomach.
"Here we are Mrs. Aviemore Train Station." I gave him some money, grabbed my bags then bolted through the station to platform 9 and 3/4. I notice a short blonde girl with a very upset face standing in front of the wall.
"Fuck! What am I suppose to do now, this is so bad," the blonde girl mumbles loud enough for people around her to hear.
I walk closer praying she's not about to tell me the platform is closed and that she's a muggle who just forgot her train ticket. "Excuse me you wont happen to be trying to get through platform 9 and 3/4 are you?"
"Sorry but we just missed it, I can't get through and I don't know what to do now," Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. This is not good. Think Blair. Think Blair. She interrupts my thoughts, "Well we can take my car."
"You can drive? " I question.
"Well yes, kinda, no I haven't learned yet. But It's the only thing I got unless you have anything better?" Shes right I got nothing just hoping we don't die. That could be better than facing my mom actually.
She takes her stuff after her running to the entrance. We get back into a taxi and drive to her house which luckily was less than ten minutes away. The car pulls up to this huge house with a dark grey tone bricks, wrap around porch with a beautiful garden on the left. The driver already had our luggage out of the car and drove a way by the time I turned back around from admiring the house standing in front of me.
"Wait here," the blonde girl orders before walking into the shed beside the house which has 4 garage doors.
All of a sudden this freshly cleaned black corvette comes bursting out with the girl in the drivers seat. I already can tell this is gonna be an interesting ride.
Hurry to get all of our stuff in the back she starts the car. Flying up to the clouds, I've only rode in a flying car once when I was very young other than that my mom only used floo powder.
"So before I die I'd like to know who I'm dying with," sarcastically I ask for the girls name.
"Oh right so sorry I didn't say before. I'm Daphne Greengrass." I take another glance at her and realizing her last name, my mother has talked about her farther before. He's some rich guy who thinks he can do whatever he wants. Although the Greengrass family hosts a Christmas party every year which I don't go to, my mom does though. I always went to a party my friends would throw.
"I'm Blair Umbridge."
"Excuse me." Daphne shouts turning her head towards me which causes us to hit a fucking bird. "Umbridge? How come I've never seen you before? Dolores is like friends with my parents and never once mentioned a daughter," Figures. She's so embarrassed with me it's crazy honestly.
"Oh I try to stay away from my mother and all the events she does," I tell her which made her giggle.
We end up finding the train and drove with it. The two of us talked and blasted music for the rest of the ride there. To be honest she's really not that bad of a driver except for the times we hit birds, went upside down, and nearly hit a tree.
"Um so I don't know how to park it."
Next thing we knew the both of us were in tree. It didn't seem to be happy about it either 'cause suddenly we are being tossed back and fourth. "What the fuck." I yell.
"We are in the whomping willow," she screams. Great not only did we miss a train, stole a car, we got stuck in an angry tree too. This girl is trouble, I like it.
Authors note: First few chapters are kinda short but will get longer, and it will start off slow and then more will happen after the first few so bare with me.
