Me, Kat and Predictbot were talking about throwing a big block party that will take place at the Headquarters in honor of the label's big achievement. It will be completely free just like the annual Compound festivals and will happen in one day which will be July 1st, 2021.
Unlike Compound, we want this special block party to be bigger that people will never forget and bring in fan-favorite artists the community loves. But pulling this event won't be easy of course, so we will really need to pull this through.
When we brought the news to the employees, they were totally on board with our idea! We will start to invite artists to come to the party and play some music, we will use a space just like what we have done with Compound but having a bigger lot. Having up decorations set up like usual and we will have a building that will include food, drinks and tables for people to just relax from the party. It won't be that hard to find since the building is just next to the party outside.
Let's not forget the team will advertise this online and the community will be so stoked. Looks like we will have work to do.
After talking to the Headquarters about the plan, me, Kat and Predictbot then went to get lunch.
"So what do you feel like eating Kat?" I say walking on the sidewalk next to her while Predictbot was floating beside us.
"Hmm, that's a tough one. I haven't had Wendy's in a while. Wanna go there?" Kat says.
" Yeah sure-" All of the sudden I get a text from Mike Darlington. "Sorry guys, but you can go to Wendy's first, I'll catch up!" I respond.
"Ok then, but be careful though. I don't wanna see you getting hurt" Kat frowns a bit.
"Hey, it's okay. I can take care of myself and my robot pal can protect you right Predictbot?" I say to the floating bot.
"You bet! I will get her to the restaurant in one peace :)" He then proceeds to carry Kat with his extendable arms carefully to their destination as they fly in the sky.
I finished texting Mike the details about the party and was about to walk where Kat and P-Bot are at. I didn't realize next to me there was a dark alleyway I was passing and for one moment, I saw two yellow eyes in the shadows.

It was kinda spooky but It disappeared. I finally made it to the restaurant but thought nothing of that encounter.
