Monstercat 10 Year Anniversary Bash

Chapter 8

A/N: I have returned from the dead to continue and finish this Monstercat story!! That's pretty much it and I hope you like what I came up with for the end of the story 😊

As Predictbot saw the portal close to the void dimension Monstercat and Evilcat went through, he couldn't believe his eyes. It pained the little bot to see his best friend taken away from him again after last time Evilcat overthrew Monstercat and took his headphones. It started to bring bad memories for Predictbot and he cannot allow the same thing to happen again.

Hours before the big fight, Predictbot also got notifications from Mike Darlington and other Monstercat artists. Mike on one hand said that Monstercat HQ is all set for the big celebration party and everything is decorated. On the other hand, artists are near Vancouver or in Canada about to reach Monstercat Headquarters. He just knew what to do next. Predictbot launched in the air at full speed and began to fly to Monstercat HQ. On his flying trip, he has messaged everyone that he will arrive at Vancouver and tell urgent news about Monstercat.

Meanwhile at Monstercat HQ...

Everything is set up. Team members are in the lobby with security, artists like Grant and Pegboard Nerds are there, and things seem to be on point, except for Monstercat's presence which is unfortunately not felt and weird.

"Alright, it seems everything is ready to go-" Mike Darlington was about to finish his sentence until he got a message from Predictbot. The text read:

Greetings to whoever reads this, this is Predictbot, a friend of Monstercat.

I'm sure you were expecting to see him at this event at this point in time. Well, drastic events have happened and Monstercat is involved. He is danger and I need your help. 

Mike Darlington and the team read the message in shock and disbelief. Before even a minute passes, Predictbot landed at the main stage trying to not make a big entrance causing the surroundings to fly around. 

"I think I'm well aware you got the message by now." Predictbot said to Mike and the others.

"Yep. Tell us your plan and we'll do anything to save Monstercat" Said by Mike Darlington ready to do the mission.

"Okay, since Monstercat is in another dimension with Evilcat, they managed to teleport there with the hands of this." Predictbot shows everyone on stage the teleporter gun. They were quite surprised but questioned what it can do.

 "What is the device called?" Luke from KUURO walked from the crowd and spoke to Predictbot about it.

"Nothing really special but Evilcat created this portal gun which allowed to travel through different dimensions and what not. He hasn't given any detail about this but I know it's capable of doing just that." Predictbot then had a hologram screen in the air big enough for everyone to see and they were intrigued.

"And I am aware that most of you who know of Evilcat don't need no introduction but for some newcomer artists who been here for a couple years, I can understand since you weren't here when it all happened. Allow me to keep it brief." The little bot said on stage as everyone gathered around closely to hear it all as they did not say a word and were drawn in to the story. He told them that after Monstercat and the artists of the label won the battle against the music industry, Evilcat wanted to overthrow Monstercat as the icon of the label and take over the music industry, especially the electronic music scene. Evilcat also took the headphones of Monstercat which were the source and what decisions he can make to help the label a really good music label. But with the help of Monstercat's friends like Pegboard Nerds, Tokyo Machine and his Tokimon, MUZZ and many others, they managed to take down Evilcats army and get the headphones back until there was nothing Evilcat could do but surrender. Ever since then, no one has seen or heard of the whereabouts of him, until now.

Everyone knew the events and actions of what Evilcat did and they were not going to have this again. So Predictbot, Mike Darlington and everyone else thought of a plan of how to save him. They only get one shot and that's it. No do-overs.
