Kobayashi sits up on her bed and starts to head to the bathroom. However when her feet touches the floor she felt that she was stepping on something completely different. Kobayashi looks down and sees she was stepping on Tohru's tail.
It was morning and Shigeo was in his room changing into his school uniform. After he was finished changing he steps out off his room, but at the same time Kanna comes out of the bathroom and opens the door causing it to hit Shigeo's forehead.
It was the next day and Kobayashi, Shigeo, Tohru, and Kanna were at a apartment agency, trying to find a bigger apartment since the one that they were living in now was too cramped for 2 people and two dragons.
