You felt something press against your back, arms wrapping around your neck like a scarf. Soft giggles filled your ears as you could feel the burying of their face against your shoulder.

"Venti, what are you doing here?" You sighed softly, eyes at the amount of paperwork left unfinished.

"I tried summoning you but the seal broke." You glanced at the bard, who held a ripped in half paper seal.

You sweatdropped, rubbing your temples as you grumbled. You could feel a migrain coming back. Venti tilted his head, his turquoise pupils giving you a curious and worried look.

"Is _____ okay? Does anything hurt?"

"Mm, just another headache. Nothing too serious..."

"Eeh?! Of course its serious!"

"Venti——" You felt the wind archon get off of you, instead, went to comfortably sit on your lap, back facing the desk as you gave him a raised brow.

Venti extended his arms, as if wanting to hug you. You exhaled, pulling the bard into an embrace as you buried your face on his shoulder. Venti began to hum softly while rubbing your back gently. You relaxed as you allowed him to do his work.

Soon, the headache slowly reduced until it was no more. But caused you to be a bit drowsy. Venti's voice was too calming. Not that it was a bad thing or anything, he was merely distracting you from finishing your work, in an attempt to relieve your growing stress.

You forced yourself to stay awake, the nagging feeling of finishing your paperwork in mind. Oh, and also remembering to give Venti a new summoning seal.

Curses, I might as well sleep if I didn't have these paperwork to finish....

"_____?" Venti's soft voice snapped you back to reality as you groaned a little. Sitting straight, you let out low yawn.

"Hm?"

"Feeling better?" You could see the worry in his eyes. You smiled softly before planting a kiss on his cheek.

"Yes, thanks." Venti smiled, a slight hue of red dotting his cheeks.

How do I explain this? You're kind of similar to the Adepti, but your not one. You are bound by a contract to assist Barbatos in his entire rule over Mondstadt. But Venti being Venti, he dumped the job on you (Mostly the paperwork).
