Love, the special feelings that you would have for someone important in your life. The euphoria of having a significant other by your side and the affection that would help you live through your life.

Sometimes people don't stay with their first love but that's just life. Most people aren't that lucky so they take the mistakes from the previous relationship and learn from them to make the relationship healthier or more special.

The thing is that break ups will always be hard with the people we have built up this special relationship with. We spend a lot of time together and enjoy each other's company, but when it doesn't work out, one of us will have to tell our partner our true feelings which would hurt the other.

But, the most painful thing is if the relationship ended due to a misunderstanding or betraying their trust. And it would hurt the most if you found out the truth or reasoning behind it, knowing that that person will hate you and lose their trust in you.

With the lowest chance of getting what you had back.

Even the friendship which you cherished so much.

Summer 2013

The weather wasn't too bad today. It was hot but the temperature wasn't high enough for me to go outside, go to the beach or pool, or need the A.C on. It didn't stop me from being lazy and staying home inside, playing games while eating snacks.

After playing for a while, someone knocked on my bedroom door and tried opening the door, but it was locked. I thought it was one of my parents so I just ignored it, and continued playing 'Persona 4 Golden' on my PSVita.

"(Y/n)-Kun, are you in there?" Someone called out and I recognised their voice, so paused the game and unlocked the door.

"Need something, Mina-Chan?" I asked and shuffled her feet together as she looked up at me nervously.

"I was wondering if you could help me with my dances..." She quietly asked and I sighed.

"You do realise I quit dancing last year."

"I know, It's just that I'm comfortable around you. Also you have the most dance experience out of all my friends and they're all busy today."

Mina gave me her begging Penguin eyes and I didn't bother in trying to reject her favour.

"Fine," I groan and put it in sleep mode, and left it charging on my bedside table.

"What type of dance are we doing?" I asked while slipping myself into a oversized hoodie that was quite big for me.

"I needed to learn a contemporary routine because we're gonna put on a show, but I can't get all the movements or isolations correctly. That's why I came to you since you're a way better dance than I am."

My eyes widened at her explanation and I chuckled at the sudden compliment that Mina suddenly gave me.

"Thanks but I can't be bothered with dancing anymore. After this, don't bother asking me because I'll probably become a shut-in in the near future."

"Well, I'll probably end up a shut-in too. I kinda am already," Mina chuckled and rubbed the top of her head.

"Let's go now."

She smiled after I did that and held her head in joy.

"You okay?" I ask her after watching her act suddenly happy.

Mina shook her head and took her hands off her head, awkwardly looking down instead while nodding.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine."
