When Colby edits he gets fussy and easily agitated so that's one of the only times I leave him alone because nobody really enjoys fighting with a 5'11 Emo. I was cleaning up the living room while he was eating his dinner slowly while paying attention to every minor detail on the screen to match everything to perfection until I heard a loud bang
"What the fuck Colby" I yelled from the living room "shut up I'm cleaning it up" he yelled back "what happened?" I asked walking into the room "I said I'm cleaning it up didn't I?" He grunted "I'm only asking what happened" I argued stepping forward to help clean it "I said I was fucking cleaning it" he repeated only louder this time and right in my face "Colby I only asked what happened" I said calmly trying to reduce the shaking that was happening and the water that was ready to pour out of my eyes "and I was telling you I was cleaning it up so there is no need for you to be in here arguing with me right now y/n I have a job to do" he snapped "I'm gonna go" I scolded "good" is all he said when I walked out of the room
"I can't believe he yelled at me like that all because I asked him what happened" I sobbed on the bathroom floor while on the phone to Kat "and he got in your face too?" She questioned "yeah" I sniffled "what is wrong with him?" She shouted "I know, hey Kat I think I'm just gonna go to bed, thank you for listening to me though" I sighed getting up from the floor and heading over to the couch "anytime my love, get some sleep alright hun" she comforted "I'll try" I sniffed and hung up the phone, as I walked towards the couch I could see Colby still working on his editing with his headphones on and watching the screen, I scoffed as I walked past the room and towards the couch cuddling up into a big ball of pillows and blankets while putting on white chicks because the movie never fails to make me laugh.
I didn't even get through 20 minutes of the movie before I passed out on the couch sprawled out like a dog on its back, by the time the movie was finished Colby was done editing and decided he was going to go to bed
As he walked out of the editing room he looked over at the couch to find I was there completely passed out
He laughed a bit and walked over to pick me up and take me to bed, as we reached the room he sat me on my side of the bed and pressed a soft and gentle kiss on my cheek and crawled over to his side
"I'm so sorry I yelled at you babe and I'm really sorry I got in your face I shouldn't have done that, all you wanted to do was help me and know if I was ok and I was so tired that I didn't realise I was yelling at you till you left" he admitted while gently playing with my hair "it's ok" I sighed "I thought you were asleep beautiful" he soothed "I was until you basically fell up the stairs" I gently laughed and so did he "yeah sorry about that" he smiled "it's alright" I whispered "thank you for carrying me bridal style up the stairs all the way into our room my love I really appreciate it" I giggled "only for you" he praised
After that we chucked a movie on the TV and drifted off to sleep tangled in each other's arms and legs
