Writing prompt~ Person A shyly working up courage to hold Person B's hand by continuing to brush against it, before Person B takes charge and grabs hold of it. Cue person A getting all flustered.

It was one of those days where me and my best friend Colby would just laze around and watch movies in the movie room because everybody else were doing things
"Hey pass me the popcorn!" I yelled as Colby came back in with a bowl of extra buttered popcorn "alright miss piggy" he laughed as I snatched it out of his hands "say it again I dare you" I looked right into his eyes giving him a warning "yeah that's what I thought" I playfully rolled my eyes "whatever" he smirked as he put on a horror movie
Halfway through the movie I was getting kinda scared and I didn't want to tell Colby so I decided I would grab his hand but I was too embarrassed to hold it so I was gently brushing my pinky against his, he looked at me slightly with a small smile and he grabs my hand as if to tell me it was ok to grab it in the first place "you baby" he laughed "am not!" I tried saying without stuttering but as he could see it was a complete fail
A jump-scare came up and that's when I couldn't take it I squeezed Colbys hand as I rested my head on his shoulder to cover my eyes from the screen "aright I think it's time we turn this off" he looked at me and grabbed the remote to turn the screen off "are you alright, you look like you've seen a ghost" Colby joked "yeah I saw your pale Emo ass and it scared me" I joined in "hey rude!" He said as I stood up and started running towards the exit "I'm going to bed!" I yelled as he chased me "no you're not!!" He grabbed me by my waist and turned me around so our faces are 2 inches away "you're gonna finish that movie with me in my room" he breathed out as he looked at my lips and back into my eyes "ok" I squeaked due to how close we were, just as I was about to get out of his grasp and walk towards his room he pulled me closer and gently placed his lips onto mine and sighed
Just as I was getting into the kiss we heard the door open and a few squeals "Omg!!" I heard Kat "Finally!!!" Corey and Jake screamed "dude!!" Sam ran towards us "uh hi" I giggled a bit embarrassed "do you lot mind" Colby gave a breathy laugh as his cheeks started growing a bit red "not at all, we were just leaving" kat smirked as she made the boys leave "so" I laughed "so" he smiled "that was nice" I looked up to see he was already looking at me "yeah, yeah it was" he laughed "ok well the movie isn't gonna finish it's self" I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards his room to finish that god awful movie with my favourite person
