Ming's pov:
I didn't expect p'Beam to not believe his bestfriends.
I thought he's also going to turn and against P'Forth just like everyone else.
But here he is.
Going against all his friends and staying with p'Forth instead.
When he called, i was ready to rip him to shreds the moment he spewed some shit about p'Forth.
He caught me completely off guard with how he pleaded with me to believe that he's on our side.
I tilted my head as i observed how p'Forth looked so peaceful lying in his arms.
P'Beam was sitting on the bed leaning on the headboard holding p'Forth in his arms.
I haven't seen him this at ease for the last month.
It does sting a little knowing that i can't provide as much comfort for him as p'Beam can. Which is a given since they're childhood friends and I'm a junior he met 6 months ago.
But more than that, I'm relieved to see him finally relax.
"Don't beat yourself up ok?" I was pulled out of my thoughts when p'Beam spoke up.
I looked at him.
"He always takes a lot of time to relax completely and trust someone. The only reason he's like this with me is that we've known each other since we were kids." He said.
I slowly nodded.
"Trusting you enough to sleep at your place, show this vulnerable side of himself, and take sleeping pills willingly from you shows how far he's come with you. Just be a little more patient. He'll come around." He added.
A small smile formed on my face.
Yeah.
I do feel kind of proud and happy knowing that he trusts me enough to be able to show this side of himself in front of me.
I snapped my head towards the door when there was a knock.
P'Forth jumped and whimpered at the sound.
"Hey hey ssshhh... It's ok it's ok..." P'Beam tightened his arms around him.
I gritted my teeth.
I know damn well I don't have any well-wishing visitors.
I took noise-canceling headphones from the nightstand and gave them to p'Beam.
He got the clue and put it on p'Forth.
He was a bit startled but relaxed when p'Beam coaxed him and turned his head to the other side in the process.
I got up and went to the door.
I opened it only slightly to look at who it is.
My blood boiled when I saw Phana standing there glaring at me.
"The fuck do you want?" I growled.
"I'm here to pick up Beam." He hissed through gritted teeth.
"He's not a child you need to fucking pick up. And you're not welcome in my room." I said firmly.
He tried to push the door open but I slammed my palm on his chest making him stagger back.
He was taken aback by my action.
"You're. Not. Welcome. In. My. Room. Fuck. Off." I growled lowly before slamming the door shut.
P'Beam was looking at me a bit surprised.
