How did he realize he liked guys? He doesn't really remember or so he says.

"Meh not my type" He replies every single time.
We've been friends since our freshie year in college. A lot of guys asked him out but he was never interested.
"Yah! I sincerely doubt you're into guys. You prolly like me so you don't date anyone" I tease him to which he laughs and replies "You wish"
Years after college we're still friends but he never told me about his past. I knew nothing about him.
"You wanted to know about my highschool days right?" One fine evening he suddenly asked me to which I replied excitedly "Yessss"
